Very central location. Unattended B&B with room and flat access via PIN, which you need before you arrive. We had room 6 which was cramped and mouldy (see photos). Shower was very apathetic. Free Wifi throughout. Continental breakfast provided.
Caveat: We got upgraded to room 8, which seems to be the deluxe room which is spacious, has a sofa, an armchair, a big bathroom with shower, separate bathtub and bidet next to the toilet bowl. Seems like the other rooms might be a lot...More
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Floroom 2! We arrived a bit earlier than we had advised them so ran into a little glitch on arrival which was quickly solved. It led us to discover Osteria Belle Donna on the next street which was a delicious,...More
This lovely 4 bedroom Bed and Breakfast was absolutely delightful. Really centrally located - we could walk to most places in less than 10/15minutes and it is less than 5 minutes walk from the main Santa Novella train station. The whole place was lovely and...More

Santa Maria Novella train station welcomes the majority of the people arriving in Florence, which might explain the hectic pace. Commuters and tourists come across the constant hustle and bustle of the station before exiting, taking a few steps and stopping amazed in Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. It is impossible not to admire the the square, housing one of the most charming basilicas in Florence. The
area has plenty of local spots to taste Tuscan specialties, but don’t stop in the main streets alone; the narrower side streets always ensure satisfaction. The huge Parco Delle Cascine provides a solution to the need for a green area as well as a historic welcome in the form of a bronze statue of King Vittorio Emanuele II riding a horse.
