This hotel was nice, clean and comfortable! The owners were very nice and helpful. They did not speak English- but my son speaks Italian! They had a nice breakfast in the morning- which was convenient and added in the price of the room

Actually, this is one floor of an old building converted into hotel (there is another one in that building) they have 8 rooms, relatively comfortable and very clean. Breakfast is not that great. It is just a place to sleep.

Good location in some respects, but there was a fair amount of noise from outside as we faced the road. The road/area may be convenient but it is not a 'nice' area. Just an unappealing road. The hotel itself is actually just the first floor of a large old building; the other floors are other hotels (!) – I imagine...

Locating the hotel was fine but exhausting dragging our heavy luggage down the crowed street which took about 10-15mins! Arrived at the hotel and had to lift heavy luggage up the flight of entrance stairs into the building. Then into the Extremely small lift to the 1st floor reception where we encountered the EXTREMELY RUDE and Grumpy looking Italian OWNER...

Me and my wife stayed at this hotel between Saturday, April 19th 2014 and Sunday, April 20th 2014. The hotel rooms have a very classical architecture and the hotel is located a few blocks from downtown. Also, the hotel is near to Santa Maria Novella Train Station. We recommend this hotel. PS. In the hotel there was a funny smell,...

The hotel is near to Santa Maria Novella Train Station and near to downtown. We recommend this hotel. PS. When we stayed at the hotel, there was a funny smell, maybe because...

The hotel is a stone throw away from the train station - located right behind Burger King. The room that we stayed in was good sized and it was clean and well maintained. The elderly couple that manages the place don't really speak English but they are able to comprehend and make out what you're saying so no worries. The...

The best thing about Serena is that it is only 100m from the train station, but it is on a parallel street, which will spare you the hustle and bustle of the people in front of the station. Other than that, there's not much to say. The rooms are spacious. Noise is a problem from outside, and inside from the...

Great hotel, perfectly located just 5 minutes from the train station. Clean and comfortable rooms and amazing breakfast! The lack of English wasn't a problem. The owner understood perfectly what we were talking about and made sure we understood him. I would definitely stay there next time I visit Florence.
