We stayed at Casa Leopardi in April for two nights. Excellent central location within easy reach of all main attractions. Karin, the host, is exceptionally helpful and suggested some great local (non-touristy) restaurants which we really enjoyed. Would recommend to a friend.

We stayed at Casa Leopardi in May of 2014, and I must say that it was my favorite accommodation on our entire trip. Karina and her husband were very friendly and extremely helpful. We were quickly booked into museum reservations and given excellent advice regarding sights, directions and restaurants. They were so accommodating, and extremely helpful. The room and bathroom...

This splendid B&B is located on the 4th floor of a historic building near Santa Croce. The rooms have been updated, but still retain a classic style. Bathrooms are clean and modern. Karen is a terrific hostess. She greeted us with a cup of Italian coffee, and proceeded to orient us to the restaurants, shopping, and sites of Florence. When...

We stayed at B&B Casa Leopardi for six nights in the middle of October and loved the entire stay! The hostess is very friendly, organized, and helpful, with great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. The room Silvia was perfect, very clean, updated very nicely, and with a nice and modern bathroom. The location is great as...

We stayed in the fanny room for four nights. It's a little out of the center of the city but definitely walkable. The steep stairs are a struggle but it does clearly advertise that. The breakfast is in a cafe called Oibo - you can find it on TA City Guides (luckily) and it's 250m away. A single croissant and...

We stayed at Leopardi in September. (Yes, it's a little hike up the stairs.) The place has been redone so perfectly! The rooms and baths are beautiful. Karin is so gracious and helpful-she does everything she can to help. Lots of conveniences, like cold AC and great Wifi. Excellent location, close to everything. Located in golden area for tourists, and classical style impressed us at first sight. The room was little bigger than the picture on web, and the bathroom is quite clean and modern. You may get almost everything there, self-service kitchen & icebox. Karin will kindly provide you the detailed routine for you and recommendations. I can`t help but highlight the...

We were a group of 4 and stayed for two nights in Fanny and Sylvia and loved the accomodations. Both rooms were large, beautifully decorated, updated, clean and had modern bathrooms. Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.

“They only have 3 rooms of which only 1 is for couples, the other two accomodate 3 people. So not much choice here.”

“There are only four rooms so you don't get much of a choice in that regard but we had a room facing the streat and it was still very quiet!”

“There are only 3 rooms in this B&B. We stayed in Fanny and it is a nice room because it is down a short hallway within the property. It has a better sense of privacy compared to the other 2 rooms whose doors face one another near the main entrance to the property. However, given the property is very well cared for, I think the insides of any of the rooms would be just as good. The photos of Fanny on their website is exactly what we got - no touched up marketing photographs. http://www.casaleopardifirenze.it/eng/fanny.html”
