We stayed in the first room (which is a double room). The room was quite spacious with lots of storage space. The bed was relatively comfortable though the pillows were pretty much wafer thin. The main downsides to the room were: the TV didn't work properly, in order to use the fan provided you needed to also have the lights...

The reception who is not friendly and a little be rude when I'm asking he questions. The room is just reasonable but I never seen the reception like that. There is no reception at the hostel which means you can only see the reception when you C/I and he go away after you pay the money.

Stayed here for one night then left. Horrible. do not stay here - it's not even worth the location. Everything is close together in Florence and a short walk. No need to stay in this place. It's just a guy who obviously owns a building. Not a properly run hostel at all! There were BED BUGS in our room. I...

This hostel is perfect for anyone travelling with low budget. It is located in the center of the Florence. The bathrooms are commun to all the rooms but they are cleaned everyday and really spacious. We had the room next to the entrance door so it was quite noisy when people was going back and forth but with earplugs it...

Nice and cheap but wouldn't pay much more to stay here! Rooms were basic, quite dark with just a small window for light and air. One small bathroom between 4 rooms so there was a long wait to get in the showers in the morning! No cooking facilities, just a small fridge. The security is not very good as you...

Great location! Right in the center of Florence (Near all the main attractions, restaurants, markets). 10-12 min walk from train station. Cheap and does the job for short stay. Room fair size with a shared bathroom. No breakfast included. Sound traveled pretty badly which kept us awake at times. Bed wasn't too comfortable. Very helpful host!

This hostel is greatly located in the centre of Florence, quite difficult to find as it is not well sign posted, just look for the Veronique buzzer to check you're there when you find the building number. The woman who greeted us was friendly and gave us a map with the highlights pointed out which was helpful, we never saw...

The place is slightly old but for the proximity to railway station and the price - it is definitely a nice option. The stay was comfortable - we had a double room overlooking the street below. The owners were friendly and helped us around the place at night. The location allowed us to explore the old city as well as...

This hostel is right in the old town of Florence, and a 10 minute walk from the train station. we had a large room, double bed which wasn't cleaned during the stay, but this didn't bother us. Bathrooms were reasonable, but somehow ended up dirty quite fast, though they were cleaned every day. On a top floor of an apartment...

Staying in Uffizi

Neighbourhood Profile
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
