Lovely room with en suite and fridge in room. Central to all major attractions. Theatre just across the road. Had voucher for breakfast at OK bar round the corner which was really nice. Lovely ristorante nearby Zio Gigi in via folco portinari. Massimo is a lovely guy and welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Noah is his 12 year old...

My husband and I went to Florence for a few days to visit my sick brother who 's being living in Florence for more than 25 years. He's the one who recommended this particular hotel being near the apartment where he lives. I've read other people's reviews before I booked it. To be honest, I was a little perplexed of...

Location is perfect. Massimo the owner is very nice and helpful however the cleaner needs a telling as floor was really dirty, our feet were black if we stayed barefooted. The towels are only changed after two days and if you put them on the floor for cleaner to take and exchange she/he will hang them back for you. Toilet...

I stayed in this place in June of this year. Massimo was great and helpful, but the bathroom smells really bad and seems has not been cleaned in a long time. The room was "fixed" the following day but the bed sheets were not changed nor were the towels. The same towel we used for the floor was hanged back...

Very good Italian-style B&B. A little bit dark (but this is an old building) but spacious (we had a triple room) and very cosy. Excellent location and pleasant stuff. I will strongly recommend these apartments. We had no breakfast. But there was a kitchen for additional 10 euro per day.

Location is a true diamond, close to all great Florence attractions. Owner was nice and helpfull. Room was quite interasting - vintage furniture, mirrors and replicas of Rafaelo and Pompei wall paintings. But when it comes down to bathroom the interesting part becomes even more interasting, unfortunately, in negative way - more mirrors, that you could not see yourself clearly,...

The location is amazing! close to every touristic places in Florence. We just needed transport from where we managed to park for free, in piazzale Michelangelo, but any other place you can do it by foot. The room number 1 was big, but the bathroom was a bit tight, the water from the shower was hard to balance between cold...

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
