We visited Italy for our third time this fall and could not wait to stay here again. We were excited to have my husband's sister and brother-in-law with us on this trip. We stayed in the Via Benedetti apartment. It was more than enough room for the 4 of us and we loved having access to a full kitchen and...

I stayed in the apartment Piazza Passerini for nearly two months while teaching in Cortona - the apartment could not be more perfect. The apt would easily accommodate three (I was alone but had visitors during my time and can attest that both beds are comfortable). The apartment has a well appointed kitchen for cooking in, a bathroom and laundry...

Coordinated renting apartment for our daughter. Couldn't be more helpful! Thank you Ambra. Lovely people. Worked with us to accommodate small pet and negotiated adjustable rate for longer stay. What more can I say? Makes travel to Italy comfortable for all.

We were visiting Cortona for a wedding, and stayed for a week at Casa Ambra. Sara helped us plan our stay and was an excellent resource while we were in Cortona. She speaks English very well, which was a help to us, as we (unfortunately) don't speak Italian. Our room was recently renovated, with a modern bathroom, in an older...

We stayed at the Piazza Passerini apartment for a week in April and thoroughly enjoyed Cortona and the accommodation. We were very pleased with the advice and assistance from Ambra and Sara both prior to our trip and during our stay. We had the privacy of our own apartment with the convenience of emailing them or popping across to their...

Casa Ambra was very pleasant. Furnished with many lovely Tuscan details. It was great to be right in the center of the charming hill town of Cortona. We enjoyed walking all the up to the top to see the beautiful church. The fortress was closed because we were there in December, but still had a great time. Ambra's family treated...

Ambra and Sara were wonderful hosts! Casa Ambra was highly recommended to us by friends and we now know why. Both Ambra and Sara were very helpful with our itinerary as we were planning our trip. The apartment was spacious and had all of the kitchen items we needed. It was fun to hang our laundry out of a window...

Casa Ambra is located in the center of Cortona's old part. We can not imagine a better location in the town. We have stayed in two of Casa Ambra's apartments. We can warmly recommend both of those. Our stays have been 3-5 weeks long, mostly in the autumn during the past 5-6 years. The owner family is very friendly and...

My family of 5 stayed at Casa Ambra for 5 nights in June. All of us agree that Cortona and Casa Ambra were the best part of our 3 week trip. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and spacious. In 2009, at a non-profit fund raising event, we bid on and won a week's accommodations at Casa Ambra. In Fall of 2010 we built our first trip to Italy around this week in Cortona and quite simply fell in love with the city and our hosts. Cortona is the perfect launching point to see Florence and many hill towns...
