Villa Sara is a very comfortable, friendly base from which to explore Taormina and the region. The B & B is run by the delightful landlady who goes out of her way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The room was huge and spotlessly clean; the fabulous terrace had amazing views over the town and Mt Etna. Breakfast... More

Escape the madness of busy Taormina and experience this lovely place to stay. A lovely hostess will meet you and do all she can to make your stay memorable. Our room had no balcony or fridge but it did have the most stunning views of Etna! Breakfast was lovely and set us up well for our day on Etna with... More

This place exceeded our expectations! We arrived to a warm welcome from Eleanor. She showed us our huge room! We had the Eleanor room! Words can not describe the view we had! It is breathtaking! We had a lovely breakfast each morning. Kept us going some days until dinner! Eggs, meats, fresh bread rolls, cheese, coffee and juice. Extremely clean.... More

The B&B is run by an old lady who has strict rules on key management, breakfast time and content. Every room has a wonderful view over the bay and the Etna, with a large private balcony. Breakfast was OK, required some negotiation what to get. Room was OK (although our fridge did not work). Internet worked fine.

This suited us beautifully because by chance, after hectic days of travel, we were taking a rest day. Couldn't find a more lovely place to do that. Taormina is a town built on a steep hillside. One quarter of the way up the hill is the main shopping area, crowded with restaurants, a communal garden and a cable car down... More

We so loved our stay at Villa Sara. Elena is the most gracious host and is so lovely. The view of Etna is unbeatable. The rooms are impeccably clean and it's very cozy. The breakfast is delicious! I really cannot complain one bit. Oh to be back drinking Prosecco on that balcony...

This place is truly unique and the lady of the house is very kind and hospitable. The rooms have the most amazing views with huge terraces and are spacious with lovely big clean bathrooms with fresh towels daily! It's in a good position with a walk to shops, sights and restaurants. Our favourite was Al Saraceno about 15 minutes walk... More

I stayed here for 2 nights and never wanted to leave my balcony. Small (3 rooms) quiet, friendly, a lovely spacious room with an astounding view. Elena is so friendly and the breakfast is bountiful and delicious. A steep walk up from the main town thigh worth it for the view. If arriving by train ask Elena to arrange a... More
