I am sat in villa Angela with a coat on. I have not been warm enough day or night. Public or guest room. If you are responsive as you claim. please put some heating on. I have fixed the light and the shower. The bath plug is ongoing so the room will be on s better state when we leave.

Dear Mary R Thank you for making us aware of your discontent. Regarding the heating, the hotel system allows either heating or air conditioning (but not both together) and at this time of year it's tricky keeping in line with the changeable weather. Of course, if guests come to reception to request heating or airconditioning we take action. We also...

We drove to Taormina in a rented car from Catania and the hotel was fairly easy to find. The hotel as a private parking so everything went smooth. The receptionist was extremely friendly and the piccolo helped us with all the luggage. The room was rather okay, nothing extraordinary but the balcony offered an amazing view. They have a shuttle...

In order to get to the center one has to hike down for about half a n hour. We didn't mind and even enjoyed it but if you are staying for more then one night it might be a hassle. On the way back, the hotel sent the grumpy driver. It was free of charge and we didn't pre-ordered the...

checked in 1 hours ago and we're already in love with this place. Great rooms with a fantastic view of the sea and Etna. Sunny porch, small but comfortable pool - great wine selection and very helpful staff. Windy roads to the hotel, shuttle bus down town. for most people it's a good idea to have the hotel staff park...

We went to Villa Angela on the basis of a recommendation. The hotel is described as a 'boutique hotel' and we were interested to know what that description meant. We found that the hotel has a very personal, almost bespoke, approach to the care and service provided to the guests. The breakfast was fantastic and, unlike many other four star...

What a great find and great people. Up a long steep and windy road above Taormina, probably not suitable for anyone with a heart condition or dodgy knees unless you have a car or get a taxi everywhere. Nice rooms and simply the most spectacular view you could imagine out of the windows. This review is well overdue but the...

We stayed 2 nights and enjoy every moment. From the attentive service to the wide pleasant room (we stayed in the standard one), the facilities and the cleaningness, the whole atmosphere, the shuttle service to the center - everything was just best for us. We liked the opportunity to stay out of the crowded center and enjoy the lovely view...

This hotel has a fantastic friendly feel. The staff are great - very helpful. We used them several times to book cabs, dinner, excursions and they were great. The rooms are very nice and all of them have amazing views over Taormina. There is a lovely pool and this is where the very nice buffet breakfast is held each morning....

For great Italian comfort Villa Angela is a great choice. Your journey takes you up a winding roadway to the parking area of the villa. You walk down one level, either by walking down the ramp or stairs to the reception area. From there, you can either take the stairs or use the elevator to go down to your room....

High on the mountain overlooking the harbor and, in the distance, Mt. Etna, this hotel offers luxury, comfort, and service. Within walking distance (down a winding and mildly challenging walkway) of town, a shuttle service is also available which is highly recommended for the trip back (up) unless you're in very good shape. The breakfasts are tasty and complete. The...
