Having a very relaxing week here. The building itself is very nice. Clean and rather grand. Its very typical of other 4 star Italian hotels I've stayed in. Lots of marble and 20s/30s styling. All staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool is delightful. Dont let the steps put you off. You can take it slowly and its really... More

This is a perfectly adequate hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the front of house staff courteous and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful. The hotel is conveniently located, just across from the bus depot. Unfortunately, the service I received in the dining room was poor, perhaps because I was a lone traveller. In brief, my meal took ages to arrive... More

This hotel has spectacular views, & great location into Taormina, that's the only good thing about it. Staff on reception are miserable, especially the woman, she is so rude! They moaned when we asked for ice, they told us we have to use their facilities if we want a drink, BUT, the facilities were NEVER open! Two sachets of coffee... More

The hotel looks spectacular from the outside being situated on the cliff. It has got nice views. The rooms are a bit out of date but clean. The staff are generally ok. The pool attendant was very charming. However, the reception lady was very unfriendly and quite rude, which spoilt the whole experience.

Beautiful sea views. Ideally situated for a quiet holiday. Not for those with poor mobility however. Lots of steps within the hotel if on the lower floors and from the pool. The hotel is built on a cliff so expect some climbing. One of the best hotels seen in the resort.

Lovely hotel with built in exercise if you consider the pool...with 176 steps it's a commitment to go but well worth it for the pool, service at the pool bar and the VIEWS! Staff were excellent, breakfast a little boring but all one needs really! Rooms are lovely but we're blessed by having the best in the house

Thoroughly enjoyed out stay for the second summer. Accompanied this time by our daughter. Gave us the same room as last time, nice touch and daughter had room below so perfect. Friendly staff especially at pool. Convenient setting just outside main town, next to bus station and close to cable car. Fantastic views and dinner on hotel terrace a real... More

This is a very nice hotel, situated about 5-10 mins walk from the fabulous ancient theatre and the old town with its numerous restaurants and just across the road from the bus station. Lovely service was received from all the staff. The pool is very nice and the pool man very attentive. The downside is that you have to walk... More

Location, views and pool area of this hotel were very good, however the hotel common areas and rooms definitely need an update. The rooms and hallways were dark and dated, and needed to be better maintained. Our superior room, although had a nice water view balcony, was tiny with the smallest shower possible. You could barely bend over in it.... More

Arrived early so could not check in, not a problem we took a walk around to find our feet and sat by the pool and had some lunch. Went back to book in still not ready - the room was late being available and when we finally got it it was not satisfactory. The lady on the desk was not... More
