Everything you could wish for …. and more! Feeling a little ‘homesick’ for this wonderful hotel to be honest! They treated us SO well - from arrival to departure and the property itself is a complete stunner, old-style grandeur in a boutique format with rooms on several levels facing the see. Sumptuous gardens surround the lower levels and the pool terrace is tastefully appointed with bar and restaurant tables on one side. Breakfast buffet is exceptionally varied and poolside lunch menu is small with daily specials. Special mention to lovely Reception Managers Joshua and Angela who helped us with such charm, and Pietro - and of course Rita at breakfast / lunch who was just a delight to see each day. If ever a hotel deserves to be visited again (and again!) … it’s this one!! Thank you, everybody!! from The Batemans…
We are in the middle of our stay at this wonderful boutique hotel . We booked through the English tour operator Citalia and it is just as they described. Location excellent , a few mins walk from the bustling town of Taormina . We have a junior suite with a balcony , the customer service here is wonderful. We have been given help booking our tours , the suite is spacious with tea /coffee . Buffet breakfast is very good. Pool is lovely with a fab view of the bay area and the pool bar staff very friendly Everyone who works here is friendly and cannot help enough. This is a family run boutique hotel just the kind of place we love to stay .We cannot recommend enough.
Villa Belvedere is a charming place in the beautiful village of Taormina. The hotel has a truly unique welcoming atmosphere. At Villa Belvedere, you can enjoy your breakfast with an amazing view on the bay, delicious healthy lunches by the pool, and taste some Sicilian cocktails in the beautiful gardens or the panoramic terrasse. The hotel also has an amazing gym with all the equipment needed to stay fit. The whole staff is lovely, always there to answer any request. They gave us great recommendations about where to eat and what to do around Taormina, and information about tours on the Etna volcano and visiting other nearby villages. Thank you for the wonderful time. We will definitely come back!
Being a couple looking for a dream place to spend one week or more with a five stars service, this is the place to stay. Hôtel Villa Belvédère has the most beautiful view in Taormina, and you will enjoy it with ultra-personalized service all day. From an incredible breakfast to lunch at the swimming pool and end your day with a bit of a gym, all with the view of the sea, this is heaven. By night you can enjoy a fabulous cocktail made by Marcos and go out to enjoy the unique atmosphere of Taormina.
Last trip we stayed by the sea- but ate above. The Belvedere hangs on a cliff in a very quiet part of Taormina. Beautiful room with balcony overlooking the sea. This joint "ain't cheap" but there is a real feeling of luxury. The buffet breakfast- on the terrace or in a bright and airy room- is outstanding. Watch for the cannoli - made fresh. Sitting around the large pool- often crowded- still is restful with no blaring music and people talking in hushed tones. Very helpful reception and kind staff- listen to their restaurant recommendations A very solid choice
A stunning hotel, the rooms are wonderful, clean and spacious. We had a room with a terrace overlooking the bay, could not be better. The staff are brilliant, always ready to help. Rita was a dream, so charming and helpful with a smile to die for. I can highly recommend this hotel, just 5 mins walk in to town and next to the lovely Municipal Gardens of Taormina. So sad to be home, missing Taormina already, but back to the Villa Belvedere next year----"-Simply Paradise"
A paradise where it is good to come back, even after 3 years in a row I never get tired of this breathtaking view. A superb garden with nice swimming pool, spacious room and extremely clean. A very attentive, smiling and professional welcome, year after year it is good to see the same personal Gentillissima Sign. Rita who remembers you and is always very caring. If you are lucky enough to go to Taormina I recommend without hesitation to stay.
A very welcoming staff greeted us with Prosecco after our drive from Ortigia. All staff we encountered were friendly, helpful and genuine. Small parking lot for cars available but staff will take care of the car. Just pull off the road one-way road, and block the sloped driveway, and walk down to the lobby entrance. Someone will get the bags, take the car, etc…A wonderful view of mount Etna, pool and coastline from our room. Modern bathroom, an absolutely excellent breakfast. Take advantage of their nice pool with gorgeous views. 10-15 minutes walk to main pedestrian areas. Property has a lift, well functioning air conditioning and english TV channels. Overall, a very nice stay!
Fabulous views, really helpful staff, breakfasts were good. We had room 11- private garden, 2 bathrooms, kitchenette. Low doorways - bumped my head twice. High rating on TripAdvisor well deserved. Try not to bring a self driven car into Taormina
We don’t normally review our experiences, but after our one week stay at this exquisite hotel, we felt obliged to praise this boutique little gem. Our family of four, (2 adult children) were fortunate enough to reside in room 15, Villa Rigamonti. The view of the bay and panoramic Mount Etna is unparalleled. The Villa is very well appointed, the beds/pillows are exceptionally comfortable. The hotel’s website does not do it justice, the cleanliness, beauty and character of this boutique hotel is underestimated. The overriding aspect that made the stay so enjoyable was the superb service and attention to detail. We had some unusual requests ( calculator and needed to borrow a tie for an impromptu interview) ALL the staff, from the owners to receptionists went out of their way to help and make us feel welcomed and special. It is a shame we only had one week at this beautiful hotel. We cannot recommend Hotel Belvedere enough. If/when we revisit Taormina, we will not hesitate to return to our little piece of paradise.…
