A very simple hotel(non luxury) in a wonderfull place, nothing special rin rooms and it´s non special category.tHE HOTEL NEEDS MORE COMFORTABLE OPTIONS. Brekfast OK.In general mode the beatiful sea view and area near Traormina give it value.

Lovely rooms, beautiful sea view. Too close to rail ways, train passing every hour. Rooms are quite! Rich breakfast Must have a car (or taxi) to go to town. 10 minutes walk to the beach. Would love to visit again.

For a spa-hotel, the guest room was really nothing special. It was comfortable, clean and adequate but a little barren, which is fine. The view out our balcony was gorgeous! The grounds were well taken care of, with many bushes in bloom, palm trees and of course the sea. The bathroom was also adequate and clean. The shower head kind... More

The experience was very enjoyable. Room had a balcony and we enjoyed the afternoon and evening weather on the balcony. Dinner was unique with Spinach soup that was the greenest, and tasteless ever. Otherwise dinners were nice, but the dining room ambiance was quite nice. Access to the dining room. restaurant was through a stone arched tunnel under a rail... More

This hotel is great for beach access but not very convenient to the historic center of town. You needed to get a ride to the historic part of town (the hotel provided a free shuttle that ran fairly frequently - we had to really hurry to make our scheduled shuttle after dinner). The rooms were functional but very sparingly furnished.... More

Hotel Caparena as a whole is a nice resort hotel. However we were put in a room with a bad smell from what we thought was the drains. After reporting it and there being no resolution or communication back to us we eventually realised the sulphurous toilet smell was coming from the air conditioning! We asked for this to be... More

Disappointed with this hotel, has so much potential but I ruined by lack of communication. Rooms are okay. Vinegar smell someone mentioned is the anti-moz spray. Breakfast is okay, scrambled eggs too sweet? Abit basic but better than others in Italy. Lunch, is okay. We went half board and the first night it seemed the chef was off, after that... More

This hotel would be 4 star if not for the overwhelming vinegar smell in the hotel rooms...others in our tour smell the same. Vinegar is a way to wash towels and clean...got it; HOWEVER, there are many other very pleasing-to-the nose ways to clean linen. On positive, beds r comfy, a/c cold. There is a free shuttle to/from Taormina. Breakfast... More

My friend and I booked this hotel under the impression it was 4 star s so we were very disappointed. The rooms are basic. the waterfall shower over the bath leaked so much it turned the bathroom into a wet room. We had booked half board but only ate dinner in the restaurant 3 nights as the food was awful.... More

We stayed here for 10 days at the beginning of August 2016 and paid for a superior sea-view room. The hotel is generally very nice with spacious and comfortable rooms (although a bit more storage such as a chest of drawers would be helpful), well appointed bathrooms and attractive gardens. However, on Friday and Saturday nights they have an outdoor... More
