The main problem in Ortigia is to find a parking place for your car. This B&B has a free parking just next to the entrance. The breakfast cost extra 6 EUR but it's worth every cent. It's a full breakfast with home-made jams, warm apple-pie etc. Great view to the sea out of the room and breakfast room. Wi-Fi was...

Fantastic large bedroom with a sofa seating area and an amazing sea view in the 4th floor. Lift, so no need to climb the stairs, although the narrow lift door and some steps in the foyer would not suit a wheelchair user. Host is Ida, who owns the apartments, which have been in her family for decades. She is an...

I stayed in this B & B one night with my family. Do not be fooled by the description of the owner. It is an old and dilapidated building in a noisy area of Ortigia. Almost impossible to find a parking space for cars. Upon entering the room in the apartment we were attacked by a nauseating smell of sewage...

We stayed here for four nights in April and absolutely loved it! It is very close to ortigia towns local bars and restaurants! The view from our room was stunning and upon arrival we got upgraded to the suite :-) very spacious rooms and the staff were very welcoming and friendly! We would definitely stay here again :-)

When we decided this October to return to Sicily after 2 years, we absolutely were in agreement that we should stay at Ortigia Sea View at the fabulous Ida Bianca's place again. We really love it here and These are the reasons (not in order of importance, but they are important reasons!). 1. It is very, very clean. 2. The...

We stayed at Ortigia Seaview B & B for 4 nights. It was wonderful! Ida was a lovely host, who served us extremely delicious breakfasts from a table with an incredible view of the sea. Just about everything was either homemade by Ida, or from the downstairs gourmet shop, including her jams, fruits, cakes, and the shop's incredible ricotta cheese...

Ortigia Seaview is a great place to stay. Ida's B&B is clean, comfortable, peaceful, lovely to look at with scenic views, and delicious breakfasts in Ida's own apartment next door. I agree with all the other laudatory reviews: convenient, special, a hideaway close to everything. Book your room now!

My wife and I left Noto and headed for Syracuse. We had heard of an island attached to the city that was highly recommended. We had no reservations and were looking for a place to stay. We spoke to the owner of a restaurant near the market (fish, vegetables, fruit, pastry, spices, cheeses and many other wonderful prepared foods) He...

Ida Bianchi - the hostess and incredible cook- made our visit wonderful! The rooms were comfortable and modern with a beautiful view but it was Ida's warmth, humor and tantalizing breakfasts that made this a most cherished experience. Homemade jams and pastries, lemony custards and gels, robust espresso or cappuccino, juices, fresh fruit- all beautifully presented and peppered with Ida's...
