This is my second time here. The rooms are a good size. Beds are a litte hard but not too bad. Good air conditioning which is a treat. Breakfast in the morning is good with nice variety. Staff are friendly. Old world charm and very good value. Close to main shopping areas and also to some good restaurants. No complaints...

The gorgeous period decor of this hotel was for us, part of the pleasure of visiting Palermo. Our room and bathroom were lovely, spacious and comfortable and the Buffet Breakfast delicious and generous. It is well located, so we were able to walk there from the airport bus and also roam about the old city. The staff were all very...

Posh like your granny would think of as posh. All gilt and no class. Bad Noise from street even through wooden shutters (!) desperately in need of revamp. Pokey. Even junior suite was claustrophobic. charmless. Staff couldn't care less. Bit sad really!

I stayed in a triple room (a bed was added to a double room) with my parents. The room was big, quiet, clean, and beautiful. Maybe a bit dark. The service was good and the staff polite. The breakfast was good but I would have expected a bit more for the quality of the hotel and it was in the...

Our 3-night stay was very comfortable, and the location was excellent -- in walking distance of almost everything we wanted to see and restaurants we wanted to eat in. Our room was on the small side and somewhat dark, but still clean and comfortable.

I'm not sure what you have to do to get five stars in Italy. It doesn't seem to be the same as the US. This hotel has no restaurant, no exercise room, etc. It enjoys a great location. Room quality was very nice. Price seemed appropriate for quality of the hotel. We loved the Tribeca restaurant located next door. One...

This hotel is located between both main streets in Palermo - the rooms were generous and really well appointed. The buffet breakfast was magnificent and could ruin your appetite for the whole day if you gave into the temptations that were lined up across two walls. Staff on the front desk were always helpful whenever we had questions. A great...

The Grand Hotel Wagner (€125/room/night) turned out to be a very good choice. I liked the location on the border of both the old and new cities. It’s located one block off busy Via Roma on a quieter street and just a couple of blocks from the Via Principe di Belmonte, a pedestrian street with upscale cafès and shops. The...
