Hotel was okay but certainly not a great experience...We were there in early September and temps in low 90's and only rooms air conditioned...Heavy drapes and rugs so a mildew smell in hotel..A/C had to be controlled at desk so was a nuisance getting comfortable temps in room...Room on third floor ,,inside,, so no view but at least quiet,,,Breakfast was... This is a Beautiful hotel that walks the thin line between old and modern. Yes they do have wifi BUT the password is different on each floor. Yes they do have A/C but not very powerful. The staff is very anxious to please and the location is excellent.

We enjoyed one nights stay at Grand Hotel Wagner in Palermo. We visited family friends who live nearby prior to leaving the following day on Ferry. Hotel was an historic and beautiful property. Wonderful staff and the breakfast was very nice.

Our room was on the smaller side, but clean and comfortable. This is a great hotel for one night in Palermo. It is located a couple of blocks from the main corso with great restaurants and shops. The hotel staff was fantastic and pointed us in the right direction for our short tour of the city. We enjoyed our stay.

We like it! It's a really old school place. I bet the rooms were spectacular in 1930! They have been renovated but don't come here looking for modern. Small by US standards, nice by European standards. Some rooms have parts of the wall finish that are failing. Internet is speedy, the bar is way-way overpriced (don't get a drink here).... More

Our daughter was getting married in Palermo. She recommended that we stay at Wagner. We were extremely satisfied with the hotel and services at the Wagner. We had several family members and friends staying at the hotel and we were all provided with excellent service. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms are a good size for a European hotel.... More

We arrived well before check-in time, but were accommodated immediately. The concierge recommended a wonderful restaurant called Scuddiero's. The location was between two great areas to visit. Teatro Massimo and shopping was a 10 minute walk in one direction and the symphony and high end shops were a five minute walk in the other. We would stay here again.

Gisella at the front desk was 5-star quality. Helpful beyond belief, especially when we thought we got scammed for parking. She actually talked to the alleged perp (turned out it was just tradition). The building is so very elegant and rooms large. Centrally located to the lovely Politeama part of the city. Parking was a challenge but the staff really... More

While on a business trip to Palermo i stayed at the Wagner for 3 nights and really enjoyed my time there. The room was small, but clean, the interior looked like you were staying at little palace. Breakfast was fine with fresh squeezed juices, cold cuts and cheese and many pastries. I also liked the location of the hotel as... More

This early 20th century building was remodeled into a palace. It is named after Richard Wagner who once lived in the same street. The rooms are elegant but small. With only one chair it is difficult to put out one's belonging. The same is true in the bathroom. One feels crowded. The service is good. The hotel has no restaurant but... More
