We stayed at this hotel during a group tour. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of several sites and restaurants. We enjoyed dinner at the hotel and were happy with the quality of the meal. Unfortunately the negatives outweighed the positives. On our first day there four of us were taking the elevator upstairs to dinner, the elevator...

QUiet smart, relaxing , modern, classical hotel with such quick walk to so many great outdoor restaurants, well known shops and tourist attractions. Loved the huge breakfast variety and welcoming staff, especially the very helpful young lady on the reception desk and lovely Emanuela tending to us at the bar, made us and our teenage children feel so welcome and...

Great Hotel located close to shops, cafe's and restaurants. Hotel staff was great especially the bartender at the lobby bar. Made us laugh. and she made excellent cocktails! Could have stayed until breakfast drinking her "magic potions!" Love you ET.

Great location! Close to everything! A few blocks from the Opera house and shopping areas. The Hotel is comfortable and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was delicious, they had Sicilian cheeses and delicious pistacchio muffins. I highly recommend it.

Centrally situated hotel on a quiet side street. Rooms are large with full bathrooms. Bar open at night. Breakfast buffet was satisfactory - situated on the 5th floor, so rooms on the 4th floor are not recommended. Our room was on the 2nd floor however view was a brick wall (not a problem for us,as we were out most of...

The hotel was located on a relatively quiet side street but in a central area of town near shops and restaurants. Rooms were nice but there was no air conditioning (receptionist said weather was a little nippy outside so only central heating was available). Given the room didn't have proper ventilation, we had to sleep with the windows open to...

The Grand Hotel Federico II isn't actually grand but interestingly enough it is around the corner from the Grand Hotel which, according to the tour, was originally a palace and this hotel appears to be part of that original structure. The reservations were honored and the room was clean and large. Upon check in I requested an upper floor, specifically...

Overall this was a pretty good place. Our room was quite large with a view overlooking the front of the hotel. It has a great location that seemed central to quite a bit of the city. We were able to take long walks without getting lost and enjoyed several meals only a block away. The staff were very helpful with...
