Stayed here with a Korean friend for a few nights sightseeing around Scily. Amazing city and was pleased with value we got for the accomodation. My whole trip cost jut £140 for 5 nights inlcuding flights in April. Very sunny and enjoyed meeting a local band in the pub opposite who took us around Palermo in their cars after the...

Stayed here on vacation in October 2016. Unlike the other review mentioning to not accept "Room 33", I actually liked "Room 33." It was a smaller spiral staircase to a loft bedroom, and a smaller bathroom below. It's in the back, away from traffic of Via Roma. Being just me, it was acceptable. If my wife was with me during...

This hotel is a little gem tucked away in the old city quarters and right next to the bus station, so not far to wheel your suit cases. The rooms are clean and basic but all you need for somewhere right in the heart of the old city. Most monuments and shops are all in walking distance and laid out...

We stayed for 6 nights from October 26 in a spacious comfortable double room with a big bathroom at the side of the hotel with a lovely small balcony. Staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast very nice and excellent location. Being centrally located on Via Roma noise might have been an issue but us being at the side of the...

My friends and I were visiting Palermo so we stayed at Hotel Del Centro for a week. On the day of our check in we were greeted by Nicolo, the desk clerk and he was very helpful in choosing our rooms. He was also very helpful and patient throughout the week with our questions, etc. Our hotel room was in...

We spent 5 nights here and used it as our base for sightseeing in the area around Palermo. The hotel is conveniently located to the train and bus station but it is on a major road with noisy traffic all day and night. The room was large and comfortable, the breakfast adequate. There are many restaurants in the area and...

Flying out of Palermo in the morning, we stayed here for a night because of its proximity to the airport bus stop at the train station. We were pleased with the room, front desk service and PRICE. The breakfast, served in a very pleasant nook, was better than expected.

We chose this hotel out of convenience as our flight from London Stansted arrived too late for us to catch the train from Palermo ti Cefalu the same evening. The hotel was on the second floor of an oldish 3/4 storey building. As we arrived at Palermo Stazzione Centrale at about 11pm we took a taxi to the hotel which...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In the capital of island, among Baroque churches and markets of Islamic memory, there is the Hotel del Centro with all mod cons. The Hotel del Centro has opened recently and it is situated in the old town centre of Palermo very close to the most important monuments, such as The Cathedral, The Massimo Theatre, The Vucciria Market and so on; moreover it is only 100 metres away from the Central Station of Palermo, in the neighbourhood of which there are the arrivals and departures of the buses for the airport and the whole Sicily. You can easily get to the Hotel del Centro from the Port of Palermo, which is about 1 Km away from the hotel. Staying at the Hotel del Centro, you will be able to walk through Palermo and you will enjoy the atmosphere and the folklore of the popular markets of the city. The Hotel del Centro, which is in a suggestive period building, is very comfortable. There are rooms with bath, shower, phone, TV, air conditioning, windows no-noise, hairdryer, Wireless Internet Access and skilled workers at your complete disposal. ... more   less

“We were happy to be on the 2nd floor rather than the 3rd, and did not mind the noise from via Roma because of the good windows. The single bed for our adult daughter was a proper bed, which is not always the case in triple rooms, and she slept well in it.”
