This hotel is in a fantastic location in the old part of Palermo and within easy walking distance of all the sights. We caught the shuttle bus from the station and the hotel is just a short walk away. It does have a long flight of stairs up to the reception and so people with mobility problems may find this...

The hotel is right in front of the famous Massimo Teatro on a pedestrian street. We were concerned about the noise at first, but the location was great. We had a balcony on which we could people watch, hear the bands playing in the square and even have our breakfast. When closed, the windows kept out all of the street...

The most important thing to say about this hotel, suspiciously missing from five-star reviews, is that it's up a long flight of stairs with no elevator. We did not know this beforehand and would have avoided it strenuously had we been conscientiously advised. Sadly, we had paid in advance so were stuck. Palermo visitors with mobility problems be warned. The...

I've just had a beautiful stay at this hotel and am already planning my return visit. Here're what I liked and some caveats to keep in mind: - Perfect location: Right in front of the Teatro Massimo, with a beautiful view of the theatre from some rooms. It's located in the central part of Palermo, so convenient to go any...

This hotel was perfect for our stay in Palermo. It is located in the heart of the historic district directly on a lively pedestrian street. The main attractions of Palermo were all within comfortable walking distance as well as a wide variety of shops and restaurants. We enjoyed wonderful and reasonably priced dinners in two restaurants that were only a...

We got engaged just before we arrived at the hotel and when we mentioned this to the staff, they ensured that we had the most romantic stay at the hotel. They sent us welcome drinks and crisps when we arrived. The staff brought us breakfast in bed every morning (croissants, cappuccinos, juices etc) and laid rose petals on our bed....

Hard to praise this hotel enough. The location is superb with most of the sights within easy walking distance and some of the rooms (like mine) have a balcony overlooking the main square and the magnificent opera house. All the staff are amazingly courteous, thoughtful, knowledgeable and seem to be really happy to work there. Nothing was too much trouble....

The wonderful city of Palermo was my first choice to celebrate leaving 2016 behind and welcoming the New Year in 2017 and although I was very late booking, I was fortunate to secure a room at the wonderful Massimo Plaza Hotel, at short notice. The room was lovely, spacious and very clean with a very large and comfortable bed. The...

We spent our last 2 nights in Sicily in this beautiful hotel. The hotel has only 11 rooms - our family of three was very comfortable here! We wanted to stay in a small Sicilian hotel and Massimo Plaza hit the spot. Right across from the Massimo Teatro, it was walkable to many restaurants ( try Fud), shopping, a wonderful museum, and historical sites. The staff, Jenny, Francesca, Christian, and another young man, were outstanding. They found a guide, Yolanda, who took us on an informative and...
