This hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of the city in a classical building with a huge lobby with a large roofless cloister. The room was spacious but a little quirky with three steps down to the bathroom.

as far as I recall this hotel is inside ZTL so private cars without special permits can not enter the area. If you are renting a car then contact the hotel and they will advise re parking options and permits to enter the area. We parked the rental car outside of ZTL on the street (for free) and then took a taxi to the hotel, we had car for just 2 days in Palermo to do some day trips. The taxi fare was not much more than parking inside ZTL and paying for the permit (daily?) plus for parking itself.
