Although staying elsewhere in Sicily, we needed a good base in Palermo for a visit to the famous Teatro Massimo opera house. Palazzo Pantaleo is just five minutes' walk down Via Ruggero Settimo, a busy but safe road when walking back at night. Large and pleasant quiet room, friendly and helpful welcome, and a really good breakfast choice. We would...

you spent 3 night at the B&B and it was very nice. Large room and bathroom, very clean. the breakfast delicious and served until noon!! Giuseppe, the owner, was wonderful, gave us lots of good information to where to go and where to eat, plus he has a great sense of humor. I would recommend it to friends and if...

We chose this B&B after mixed reviews of hotels in Palermo. We had been on a cruise around Sicily and this was minutes from the port. Also Vagabonda (forum advisor for this city)said it was a sound choice. We felt the position was excellent,on a main road ,a safe area of the city but behind the facade of shops which...

I can only agree with the many positive reviews of Palazzo Pantaleo. We were so happy we chose this place to stay. Well located in vibrant part of the city. Very close (about one block) from the airport bus stop. We walked everywhere in Palermo with no problems. Lots of nearby restaurants and shops. Our room was large with a...

Central, palatial, reasonable & delicious. Grand Palermo, your palms scorched by the unforgiving sun, your sky brilliant unblemished blue. Your narrow avenues and grand piazzas laid out a map, which we followed to the cool heart of your ancient body - Palazzo Pantaleo. There we were offered fruit, marble and fine linen. Good company and a fresh breeze were welcome...

My wife and I and 3 year old daughter stayed at the Palazzo Pantaleo at the beginning of August 2012 (apologies for the late posting) for 3 nights having spent the 4 previous nights in one of the better 4 star hotels in Palermo (and having stayed at Palermo Hilton Excelsior on a previous visit). We have never stayed in...

This past September my wife and I were fortunate to book two nights at the fabulous B&B Palazzo Pantaleo. From the moment we arrived very early one morning direct off the ferry from naples, our host Giuseppe treated us like family. We were close enough to walk from the dock to the B&B which saved us the expense of a...

Palazzo Pantaleo B and B was a great find. Giuseppe, the owner, could not have been more helpful. The rooms are large, the beds comfortable, the breakfasts very good. We did not have a car and were happy to be close to buses. We found very good restaurants within easy walking distance. I would highly recommend Palazzo Pantaleo.

We had the pleasure of staying at Palazzo Pantaleo on Oct 2012 and would stay again given the chance. We arrived late in the night and in the middle of a raging storm yet Guiseppe was on hand to welcome us with umbrella in hand. Our room was a suite with separate lounge area, bedroom and ensuite. The balcony overlooked...

Rooms are very spacious and clean, tasteful decoration and furniture, extremely quiet despite been in the heart of Palermo. The bed was super comfortable, mattress and bed sheet are of excellent quality, haven't slept so well since long time! Breakfast is of a premium quality too, fresh orange juice and freshly baked croissants. The location is excellent, just a short...
