We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights and used Catania as a base from which to explore this corner of Sicily. The hotel is on Via Etnea, and so yes, there is a view of Mt. Etna from the street on a clear day. Cool! The room was rather small and the TV did not provide any English language... More

I highly recommend this hotel, I stayed in room 104 –it is an interior room, singular room with a private toilet, during 3 nights, the price was 50 euro per night and it is worth it. The review is written from a point of view of a traveler that came to a vacation for 72 hours in Catania. The need... More

This is a very nice little hotel situated perfectly for exploring Catania. The room was beautiful... arched ceiling with painted detail and antique furnishings. But most important, the bed was very comfortable. The morning breakfast room offers more than just coffee and pastries... it includes yogurt, fruit, hard boiled eggs and more. Very nice. The staff speak English and were... More

Hotel is situated in the center of Via Etna. Has a very vintage lift. Hotel situated on second floor. My room was at the very end of a long corridor. Very clean and quite. No view. The breakfast room or garden is side to Villa Bellini gardens. Breakfast ok. A big of everything. Not english breakfast, but ok.

Located in the city center, near good restaurants. Breakfast included. There is free wifi but a bit slow. Fairly priced compared to other hotels around the area. Close to a park where you can go for a run.

A very nice boutique hotel with nice views of the street or of the park on the street behind. The lift is a little tight if you have large luggage. The breakfast was pedistrian. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Ended two weeks in Italy at this delightful, convenient hotel. We found it clean and well maintained but as with many small hotels in Italy it shares the building with other residents and businesses and can be a challenge to locate. Look for the buzzer to the left of the large, locked wooden doors to gain access. Elevator is up... More

If you are staying in Catania for a few days, you can't beat this location! Right on via Etnea, the city's main shopping street, next to via Umberto, another street full of great shopping choices, and walking distance from many great restaurants. Caddy corner from the best granitas and brioches and in front of Catania's "Central Park". What could you... More

I'm sure there have to be much better places to stay in Catania. My room was not clean, the bed was old and uncomfortable, the elevator only goes to the 2nd floor which necessitates everyone carrying their suitcase up and down a very narrow staircase at least once. Breakfast was packaged croissants and coffee no Italian would be willing to drink.... More

We stayed one night in this hotel and found it serviceable and clean but on the small side. The only real criticism was the tiny elevator that had obviously been retrofitted into the old building; it was only large enough for one person and his/her bags. Hence when a small group checked in - we were with a REI hiking... More
