We stayed here for 7 nights and we loved it!!! Rob is a great host. Nice and gentle and full of good information and suggestions for restaurants. He loves his job and to take care of his guests. He prepared for us the breakfast every morning when we wanted how we wanted. A nice good selection of food and drinks.... More

B & B 5 Balconi is definitively a fantastic place to stay in Catania. We highly recommend it. It was easily the best B & B we visited. We stayed longer than we planned and so do many others. Why? 1) You get a great host: Rob is very laid-back, sweet, caring and welcoming. Plus he has a sense of... More

We booked this place because it had such good critics and the place was really great. We loved all, the rooms, the bathroom, the breakfast, and especially Rob! He was so helpful and kind; very professional! We travel a lot, but never we had such kindness; we "had to" fill out list for breakfast, so that he could get everything... More

Don't look for anything else. That's the place to stay in Catania !The house and the decoration are beautiful. The situation is perfectly in the center. The rooms are great (and very clean). The Breakfast is the best we had in Sicilia. Rob is adorable and he gave us all the informations we needed. We could park easily in the street... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in June and after two months of travelling can honestly say it was one of the best experiences we had. The room was clean, big, and had a small balcony where you could sit and watch the world go by below. There are two bathrooms which are shared, but were the cleanest, nicest bathrooms... More

I can't say enough to commend this B&B. The location is ideal, an easy walk from practically anywhere you would want to go in Catania - the Pescheria, the Piazza del Duomo, the Castello and the restaurants around it, a bus depot where I could catch the airport bus. My room was great, with a small balcony where I could... More

I stayed at this great place for 4 nights in total.. Rob is the kind of owner who goes the extra mile for their guests; tips, routes, suggestions for good places in Catania etc.. The place is clean as it should be and conveniently located somewhat close to the center and some veryngood restaurants..

I almost don't want to review this B&B, it's so great i don't want everybody to know about it so i can go back there when i'm in Catania again!!! There are only 4 or 5 rooms, all decorated with a lot of taste and Rob and Cristina make you feel at home instantly. It's almost as if we were... More

The best reason for staying in 5 Balconi is to meet Rob, the owner, who is the nicest and most helpful person we met during 3 weeks in Sicily. 5 Balconi is family friendly unlike most other places we have stayed during our visit in Sicily. Sicily is a perfect island for holidays, but unfortunately quite uncomfortable for a young... More
