Stayed at this charming hotel having seen the reviews on Trip Advisor and not disappointed. Very close to the main bus terminus and central rail station so very easy to get out and about to Syracuse. Taormina etc. Our hotel room with its high ceiling, and view overlooking a horticulturist's dream courtyard, was very clean and spacious by comparison to...

Short stay in this hotel. Room is big, although it is a bit dated. Location is fine, a fifteen minute walk from the city centre and nearby railway station. Garden is an oase of rest, ideal for a glass of wine at night or for the (simple) Italian breakfast.

Apparently this was once a prince's palace and its palatial splendour and spacious bedrooms still suggest this. But the rooms are fully equipped and modern. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful although we arrived almost at midnight. Breakfast is in the charming courtyard garden and good by Italian standards. The area is not the most elegant in Catania but...

Such a convenient hire situated literally 3 minutes walk from Catania Centrale and from the Interbus stops that can take you all over Sicily. Make sure to have breakfast included, the courtyard is beautiful and a brilliant way to start each day. We based ourselves for two nights here and did a day trip to Ortiga before heading to Taormina...

We were very pleased about choosing this hotel. It is well situated for public transport. We got off the airport bus outside the railway station and then only had a 3 minute walk to the hotel. The following afternoon we took the AST bus to Modica from in front of the railway station. We returned to Catania on the Interbus...

After a bad experience with a B&B in Catania we arrived at Hotel Romeo late at night and they were very helpful in giving us a room for a night. We stayed in the Superior Room which is a stunning room! Spacious, beautifully furnished and clean. We had breakfast the following morning in the lovely garden courtyard. Their warm croissants...

The hotel is situated close to the rail station, so you can easily take the bus from the airport and only have to walk max. 5 mins (we stayed 1 night, so that was a big plus). All the places of interest are reachable in about 10 mins. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The interior is...

We stayed in a family room 2x adults, 1x teenager and a 9 year old. The room had a balcony overlooking the sea, right on the main road. The traffic noise was not a problem at all, the room was surprisingly quiet! Great to have a mini fridge in the room as well. it is only a 20 minute walk...

We were only staying at Hotel Villa Romeo for one night as a stop-over on our way to Taormina, and weren't counting on anything special - but if you like gardens as we do you will love this hotel! There are beautiful atriums everywhere you turn full of lush vegetation, and the interior is very interesting and colourful too. The...
