I booked this hotel based on its reviews. Well the condition of the building is very poorly maintained. Our room was super old and tiny, AC extremely noisy. Our bathroom’s door handle fell off instantly. The swimming pool is not so bad. Very close to the beach, but the water was dirty and disgusting. Also the neighbourhood is not the best, with lots of abandoned buildings. Staff was nice, but for the price we paid we would not go back. Pics definitely looked much better than reality. Also there was a strong smell of freshener in the room, that was unpleasant. I would recommend using less.

The whole experience did leave me totally disappointed under many point of views. I paid 147 euro for 1 room for two nights, breakfast included. The "hotel" has one main block where the reception is, and that was supposed to be the only place where the rooms were allocated for guests I believe. I do not know why I was put into another block, that seemed to me a block for hotel staff, with laundry at entrance and with an incredible long jail corridor with no windows to pass through. That seemed to me something not for hotel guests, since in same rooms there were also police agents living (or long staying) there. To get to the block for my room I had to pass through abandoned pathways full of weeds and finally walk on wobbling detached tiles. The room was nice, with everything I needed, maybe I would add something to hang a towel in the shower and also something to leave the shampoo on. Netflix was not working in my room, it displayed a Network error, but I did not care as I had my own Internet on the mobile. I chose the hotel for the gym, as it said to have one. Disappointed on this as well, as the whole gym was left abandoned, dirty from last guests, with no hand sanitizers or paper to clean the tools after use. Gym floor had also missing tiles, but the cherry on the cake were the rubbish left abandoned from previous use. Gym is in a total state of abandon, with super dirty glass that don't let you see through. Location is not great. You cannot just walk from city center to the hotel since there are stretches of road you have to walk with no footpaths and dangerous for pedestrians. Last bus from city center is around 20:30 (D line), and if you miss it you need to get a taxi or the hotel shuttle (15 or 20 euro it depends on who answers the phone!). Breakfast is average, since for this price I have seen much better. Staff is very friendly, and maybe the high price is paid for that reason only.

I slept there for two nights. Hotel is situated perfectly if you came for sunbathing, close to some nice tavernas nearby. You can reache there from the airport by taxi or by buses 424 and D lines. There is an outdoor swimming pool in the hotel, unfortunately it was not available for some time during our stay due to servicing. The room and bedroom are clean, free wi-fi works well. During the Covid-19 pandemic, breakfast is served by the waiter, a choice of sweet - 1 croissant, fruit, tomatoes (your choice) or salty - scrambled eggs or a mix of scrambled eggs and sausages. For hotel guests free access to a separate beach, free sunbeds and umbrellas. I did not ate dinners in hotel restaurant but I saw a lot of people there so it is probably good.

Very friendly and helpful staff managed by Nino, probably the most friendliest and helpful staff I have ever encountered on my travels. Very clean if smallish rooms, but with excellent facilities and the essential air conditioning! Only gripe is the main hotel bar has been moved upstairs. Breakfast was good and plentiful, and the evening meal we ate in the hotel restaurant was superb and the best meal we had in Catania. The restaurant is run excellently by Alfio and his staff.

We arrived late at the airport and need to stay somewhere close by. We pre booked this hotel for its location. We received a lovely welcome on arrival the room we had been allocated was perfect, clean and you could tell the bathroom had recently been renovated. We went to the bar for a beer and the waiter was very friendly and pleasant. We had a good night sleep and woke refreshed ready to stat the holiday. Breakfast was in a very sunny room with a selection of mostly cold pastries and some hot food. Great coffee. I’ve read other reviews on here, yes there are military personnel staying here but that is no different to business people staying in a allocated / fixed hotel for business. Hotels have to get business where they can.with everyone booking on line these days hotels do not make huge profits. Perfect stay thank you
