situated in a dodgy area. When driving we Felt like we were visiting an illegal immigrants camp. Disgusted by awful old bungalows. Dirty kitchen, rusty showers, furniture falling apart, old beds, awful bar and restaurant. This place has never been refurbished in at least 50 years. It doesnt meet any startards. Thanks god it was a short stay. Possibly the... More

Located a short drive from the port of Catania, set a few steps from the beach, the sea is amazing and worth the visit alone. Overall the facilities are not the best and you are looking at a no-frills camping site which is great if you are looking for that camping experience. Lots of families around and unfortunately quite a... More

Stayed 4 nights at the begging of June. Very clean, basic accommodation - has all you need - picturesque sandy beach, common kitchen with cooker and fridge or kitchen in your room, very close to Catania (really easy access). Beach has beach chairs and umbrellas, very clean and nice sandy beach. The room was simple with no fancy extras; good... More

We've spent some days in this old camping this June. The season was not at his top, and few people were around. The room/bungalow 44 is very basic and the shower is poor: all the floor gets flooded whenever you use it. This explain the mop at the entrance.. The broom is probably for all the sand you bring in... More

We stayed here in Room 103 for 2 nights in June 2014. Stella was really helpful from the moment we booked through Airbnb. She emailed us to let us know the best way of getting to the resort by public transport from the airport, which worked a treat (20 min bus from Piazza Borsellino). She was really great when we... Our bungalow in the Villaggio was beautifully located next to the sea - a perfect location. Unfortunately, the bungalow itself was very dilapidated and in very poor condition with minimal facilities. We ate once in the restaurant but never again - food was cold, restaurant was unappealing. There was no restauarant of any quality near the Villaggio. The location is... More

We needed a place near the airport but didn't want to give up the sea until the last second. This place served our purpose. I asked for a bungalow right next to the beach, and we got it. We could sleep with the sound of the waves (lovely!) and our bedroom window was facing the beach (right outside) and the... More
