A great location in the middle of Catania and across the street from a terrific, famous bakery you should not miss, Pasticceria Savia. The price is right but you need to go upstairs for an oddly configured hotel. Clean and correct, not more. English spoken.

Serendipity often comes into play, you read a review here, you make a booking there,,same old same old. See the sign on the scaffold above ( the 200 year old building is getting a touch up,for her birthday) push the brass bell, click goes the electric lock, up the stairs to the first floor, push the brass bell, click goes...

A very small but extremely welcoming hotel. Our room was larger than expected, very clean and with our own bathroom. Domenico and Marco are both very friendly and were both helpful when we asked for their help. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise - very adequate. Very good value for money, we will definitely return.

A historical building, on Via Etnea, one of the main boulevards of Catania, really you can see the Etna Volcano along the boulevard. Big rooms (mine was 6 x 8 m and 3,5 - 4 m tall) with original ornaments on the ceiling, original floors, doors and windows, completed with all modern facilities : A/C, heating and a bathroom with...

First impressions from outside were a bit negative and there was scaffolding outside. To enter you have to go through a big door into a courtyard, then through another door leading to the first floor, with the entrance of the hotel and reception area. Once inside the old worldy look and decor was bright and cheerful. The bedroom was big...

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. We found the location to be great for excursions into the historic centre. It's very near some of the great markets in the city and there were some good places to eat nearby. Marco was an excellent host, very lively character with a lot of good hints and inside knowledge. It's...

For the second time we had spend three days at hotel etnea 316 and we had a very special stay again: a friendly warm welcome, a jovial and clean room, a many-sided breakfast and the best tips to spend our time in Catania! It was an awesome holiday time, Marco and all the team, thank you very, very much!

I stayed here with a friend for one night; the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was large, clean and had some interesting architectural features, the breakfast was good. The location is very central and it was easy and inexpensive to get here to and from to airport by bus.

Great check in, plenty of information given and into the room. Nice and clean, comfortable bed, good functional bathroom. Could do with a little more lighting in room 10. Breakfast was fine. Marco and his colleagues were friendly and helpful throughout our stay and dealt with everything very well. Many thanks

This is a no frills B&B it's location is excellent for a short visit to Catania. The rooms are large and clean with air con Breakfast is minimal but you can always use one of the many bustling Street cafes nearby. I'm currently on my 3rd visit the only downside is that the welcome on arrival can be over enthusiastic.
