We spent 2 nights at Hotel Grazia Deledda and we had a great time. The room was as descripted: comfy, spacious and clean. Breakfast was included in our booking and to be fair, I don't understand those negative feedback. There was plenty of choice, from pastries to cakes, from yoghurts to fresh fruit with options for those who like savoury breakfast. The hotel is a stroll from the historical centre and the famous Piazza d'Italia, one of the most beautiful city squares in Italy. A special mention to the staff, all were helpful and efficient.
I've stayed here for almost two weeks and it has been absolutely great. The hotel staff at the front desk are very helpful and friendly. The restaurant is something special. They have a small, different menu every night and Franco takes care of everyone so well. He's pretty much a one man show out front and tirelessly makes sure everyone has what they need and he does it all with kind words and a smile. The restaurant is usually pretty quiet with good music playing and the food quality is spectacular. The breakfasts have also been great with lots of options and amazing coffee and also very kind and friendly staff. I highly recommend this place if you are ever in Sassari.
Stayed 2 days, rooms were nice and clean, breakfast is okay, very well located hotel. Great service at reception , we had to transfer to porto torres early in the morning and they took care of it. Would probably go back if i go back to sassari.
I spent 2 nights in Room 133 on29 and 30 Sept. It was clean and comfortable, and quiet. The concierges were efficient, helpful, and all had good English. The breakfast was adequate, but adundant. The evening set meals were OK, but rather basic and bland, but served in a large, noisy common room with lots of atmosphere. It was a fair place to stay.
We have stayed at this Hotel earlier in the year around September when the weather was of a respectable temperature and very pleasant it was to, nothing has changed from our last visit still tired and needing attention but we decided to book again for December. Oh dear a mistake!!! Firstly we noticed the lack of heating in the main entrance hall and the wash rooms temp roughly around 20f / 6c if that ? Considering the hallway it’s were you would sit on the lovely sofas provided, unfortunately not for long due to lack of heating, we did notice various heaters all around the room but none were switched on, we spent most of the time in our bedroom with the air conditioning set on at 24f to 25f The wi-fi was intermittent depending on where you were in your room 95% of the time it was zero, we made mention of this but nothing done, strong signal in the freezing hallway & breakfast room. Room service was lacking, we were told due the lack of guests room service was not available and the staff were on Holiday until the end of January. We also noticed on our few trips out when we returned our room was cold the hotel had switched off the air-con from the master switch they controlled, not good at all with an elderly man of 84 with a heart condition & needing to stay warm as well as myself. No tea or coffee facilities in the room which would have been nice, fridge stocked with the normal water and fizzy drinks only and chocolate wafers. My question is why open if you can’t provide as stated even with the lack of guests?? The rooms are kept clean at all times and staff are very helpful full marks for that but that does not make up for the aforementioned. The Hotel is in need of desperate refurbishment throughout. Hence my star rating and warning bring plenty of woolly clothing.…
