Positive: Clean and spacious room, very friendly staff. Location good, just a short walk to old town. Many restaurants are located close by, as well as a big supermarket, very good coffee! Negative: Way too expensive! Totally outdated interior, felt like a youth hostel from a former century. The size of the shower is for midgets. No atmosphere in the room, really budget. But it was clean! Breakfast is a joke, only the very good coffee will safe you. Would have maybe been okay when charging half of the price, but not around 100 Euro for two persons!

This hotel is overlooking the river and we had a side room 114 which did give us a small amout of road noise for traffic going from the bridge to the port. This also an easy place to find due to local tall building nearby. Almost everything in Olbia is within easy walking distance. A point to note that there is no Central bus station in Olbia.Just one very lonesome train station with very few trains per day. As stated by others their are numerous bars and restraunts.MOSTLY Only serving after 7 pm but ther are a number of Kebap small eat ins and Pizza places which are excellent value for money just out of the hotel and right 100 metres past the giant and cheap supermarket. . The hotels breakfast was reasonable and serves as a mini cocktail bar if you want to be kind as a description. No one used it in 5 evenings the days that we stayed. Televisions are antique and poor quality Italian only programs. Forget it. Next door lefts had really nice cheap capuccinos. You could DO Olbia in less than two days and the trips we went on to Porto Rodondo Palau then Isle Magdalena on a ferry and also Golfo Aranci etc were pleasant but one hour would be long enough at each. Get a car. Herz is next door. The local park was really active serving Beer Sausages etc and carried on as a load of market stalls. Sadly very little worth looking at. The hotel is pretty nice ,it is in a great location , overlooking the port and just a short walking distance from the city center,shops , restaurants and bars. The room was clean,the staff was nice and helpful ,mid range prices .

Friend and I ate at the restaurant one night, and the pizza was pretty good. One waitress there, named Josie, was the nicest person we met in the whole of Olbia! She just oozed warmth and she was an absolute delight to talk to. The location of this restaurant is great too- right opposite the port.
