This is a beautiful place ti stay in, conveniently located next to the roads you take to go to many places around to visit. Only 10 mins or so from the airport and the downtown of Olbia. The rooms are very well decorated in Sardinian style with typical products, comfortable (excellent bed), you have everything you need and despite being close to the road, they are very quiet (at least our room was). The best part is how clean everything is, spotless. They have a restaurant as well with excellent homemade products and great wine. Great service, I recommend it and would stay here again.
We chose this place because it was on route to the north and also had great reviews about the restaurant. Before booking we confirmed if the restaurant would be open in May and a week before we received an email saying it was closed. So if going for food then May is not a good time to go. However, the pizza down the road is great - the best we had on the island! Wonderful service too! But we only chose this place because of the restaurant/garden experience. Rooms are comfortable and the room lights up when the sun rises as there are no dark curtains. We were also awoken by a donkey in the adjacent field! :) Grounds are well kept. Breakfast is mainly bread, egg, yogurt, coffee, croissant.
A group of us spent seven nights here. The rooms were very spacious, private, with well appointment bathrooms. The surroundings are wonderful - well kept gardens and vineyards. The owners are so pleasant, friendly and very helpful. We loved the animals there. The breakfasts were very good with omelettes or scrambled eggs if you wanted them. Excellent coffee and fresh orange juice. The evening meals are `fine dining` so not large portions but everything beautifully made and presented. We didnt have a car and went everywhere by bus which was fine for us but most people would hire a car to get to the beaches. The traffic is constantly heavy everywhere which was a surprise - the modernised roads are certainly not designed for pedestrians although there are many bus stops. People on cycling or walking holidays would find things very difficult on the main roads Lovely place though and we would go again.…
We were on a daily tour in the island after travelling with a catamaran for a week in Sardinia and Corsica. We looked for a nice vinyard with food, and followed tripadvisor recommendation. What a find!!!! After all the super fancy and expensive places we visited, we felt in Murales, as if we came to eat at home. The place was already closed and they refused to send us without eating and drinking. They made a huge effort ( with a smile) to meet our dining requests. If you want to feel the real Sardinians do not miss it. Giuliana is the best hostess i have ever met!!
Yes it is close to the busy street but you would never know it! It is a magical little property and food like you find no where else. Antipasti with very unusual and delicious items like homemade goat cheeses. The hostess at the restaurant was simply charming. The staff was wonderful! Hospitality overall was excellent. Very clean with modern bathrooms. No fridge in room and it could have had more lighting but that was really not a problem given the location to beach and airport. (They brought us another lamp in five minutes). In fact the purpose was finding a nice place close to the airport and it turned into an extra beach day and the best meal and wine of our 18 day adventure in Sardinia. If you don't need too many amenities I would recommend it and at the very least their restaurant is worth the visit. …
