We were given a unit with a really old sofa bed with an awful mattress and two bunk beds! It was all very tatty and dirty. The loo seat was broken and the grout in the bathroom and shower was revolting. There were no pillow or mattress protectors at all. We were asked to clean the kitchen but were not given any cloths or cleaning products with which to clean it! When we asked at reception we were told to go and buy some! I had to clean the shower before we could use it as it was full of someone elses hair! There was no washing up liquid or cloths or scourers and we were not given a tea towel or oven cloth. We were supplied with a microwave but there was no where to plug it in! We were cooking on gas in the area with the sofa bed but there was no carbon monoxide monitor smoke alarm or fire extinguisher. The girls in reception didn't understand about RCI at all! Thankfully RCI moved us in the end but its agreat pity that you cannot get hold of someone from RCI on a Saturday, which is when most guests will be checking in!…
Initially was planning on a week's stay in this campsite, but after one night I changed my mind. The pitches are totally disorganised (basically everyone can stay wherever they like), little to none vegetation and a lot of dirt. Now that wasn't the main problem, Sardinia is kind of an arid landscape so you can't really expect lush vegetation. The thing that made me leave was the fact that toilets are old and mostly turkish style (a hole in the ground) no soap, no toilet paper AND they got the nerve to charge 80 cents for hot water tokens in the showers. It's really not about the sum itself but having 20 year old toilet facilities and turkish toilets in the 21st century means that they really don't care about their customers and on top of it all they mock you for having to pay the hot water. I wonder if the manager has such toilets in his house, for his children and family. A place to avoid !…
We stayed in the bungalow house for one week. The bungalow was in good condition, with a nice terrace, place is enough for 2 adults and 2 children. We were not too overlooked. Campsite is clean and well maintained. The highlights are the swimming pool, air conditioning in the bungalow and sports activities. We had already stayed at this campsite several years back and there was more entertainment in the evening. Now for the animation you must leave the campsite. We felt that there was much less crowded than before. We had a good stay. The highlights are the swimming pool, air conditioning in the bungalow and sports activities. We originally planned to spend 3 night at Camping Cugnana, but we extended it by 2 nights more because we were very must happy and delighted with the facilities and extremely helpful staff. Monica, at the receptions helped us to plan our daily trips to the beaches near by. Since it was our first time in Sardinia (and we were without car) we had a lot of questions which were answered everytime in the best possible way by the reception desk. The camping area is nice with tall shaddy trees. The swimming pools is a delight and very big, difficult to find such a clean and big pool even in 4* hotels. The only negative which i can think of is that there is only 1 BBQ place. If there are more places to do it, thats would be better. The toiltets are clean and spacious. There is a mini market inside where you can get almost every thing needed for camping and basic food stuffes. There is also a pizzeria/cafe/bar inside which serves awesome food and also take way. There is free shuttle service to nearby beautiful beaches. The location and proximity to the beaches is a big plus. Supermarket 1 km approx. Wifi is pretty good but only availble near reception and pizzeria. Its free. You will have a fun time here, just as we did.…
We stayed at his property on several different occasions over the years and we always had an amazing time. We keep going back because it's simply the best. Owners Andrea, Elena e Alberto, have turned this piece of land into a small paradise that combines the best of the natural landscape with the convenience of a very well organized village and the convenience of a very affordable exotic vacation. The grounds are shaded by a lush canopy of local vegetation of oleanders, lantanas, rosemary, and palm trees, lovingly tendered over the years by Elena, and bejeweled by a most impressive olympic sized pool with lifeguards on duty, and that has also a shallow baby area on one side and a deep diving pool on the other. The campground's public areas and bathrooms are immaculate. There is a restaurant/pizzeria on site that makes excellent food and one of the best pizza I have ever had hands down. There are also a mini-mart on site, as well as two cafes, one by the pool and one by the administration office. The village provides plentiful amenities such as free shuttle to the various excellent white sand beaches around the area, and animation for the children. Everything is organized so to provide the best beach and vacation experience not only for adults and couples, but also for children, groups of friends, families, and teenagers. We rented a bungalow that hosted four of us--two adults, one child and one teenager. My Norwegian friends (one adult, one child and a teenager) rented the bungalow next to ours and we had a ball! The bungalows were very comfortable and well appointed. Great bathroom, a small kitchen area that allowed us to cook our own meals, comfortable beds, air conditioning, and an outside porch and patio area with table and chairs. We are just looking forward to go back again next year!…
