The good things first: the hotel is clean and modern. We had not reserved a room and tried to make a spontaneous booking at the reception. So we two (male) friends asked if there was still a free room. The lady then asked three times if we really only needed one room. Only when I said that we prefer separate beds, she was satisfied. Hello, 21st century! The hotel has its own spa area - is advertised online as well. But in fact, the entrance fee is 18€ per person. Not cheap but okay, if what is promised online is kept: One pool, two saunas, two steam baths. Because of Corona, however, there is an admission restriction and the stay is limited to two hours. So far so good. The Corona savings package has probably also included other things. The temperature in the whole spa is cool, the pool is not really heated and the steam baths are out of order. So to avoid catching a cold, people are queuing up at the two saunas, which Corona requires can only be used by two people at a time. Pure relaxation! The day before we were told that because of Corona, we will not have a breakfast buffet, but instead, we should fill out a note telling them what we would like to eat. Sounds reasonable and good. Bread and confit are already waiting at the table in the morning - at first sight promising. On the second, the Pape plates and plastic dishes catch the eye. One tries here probably to compensate for the CO2 saving of the pool or to protect the hotel personnel from attacks by angry guests with metal cutlery. The highlight was the cold 5-minute egg served in a transparent plastic dish with plastic spoons. The lady then also assured that the egg had been freshly prepared in the morning. The hotel - almost 100€ (130€ with spa) per night is simply too expensive for what it is. Especially if you have a 15-minute walk to the center of the small town of Olbia.

This is a modern hotel with a lovely outside pool and some of the friendliest hotel staff I have come across. It is a little outside the main restaurant and port area of Olbia which is around a 15 minute walk through a less picturesque part of town. So do take comfortable shoes to talk to town in! The rooms are also fairly small and basic, but they have a very large double bed with good sheets/pillows and nice modern bathrooms. If you can, ask for a view of the pool as the rooms on the other side of the hotel have a very poor view of the fly over/dual carriage way. they have standard swimming pool hair dryers in the bathrooms, so I would take your own as they only seem to have larger hair dryer for the whole hotel. Breakfast was a bit slow as a system of ordering the night before seemed to take a while to deliver the next morning in the breakfast area, but we did get used to it. The car hire man, Paolo, in the lobby was also extremely helpful and priced better than on line in an extremely busy bank holiday weekend. We were doing a mix of work and holiday and on some long days, used a local supermarket (2 mins walk away) for food and the hotel does a few things on their own bar menu, but it's not a large choice. They will put a kettle (a boiler in Italian) and tea and coffee in your room, but you have to ask for it. There was nothing in the mini bar at this time, due to the current situation with covid, but you can buy drinks and put them in the fridge. The best things about this hotel are really the lovely staff and the pool!

The friendly staff made sure we have got an upgrade. I really wonder how a standard room looks like. The area of the hotel is just outside the centre and the breakfast is extensive. WiFi reception in our room was nonexistent.

I spent 4 nights in the hotel with my girlfriend. It was our best holiday. Thank you for the staff, especially for the receptionists. Claudia helped a lot. The location is very good, it is in the centre. The view from the rooms is not the best, but we did not go the hotel to look out the window. The breakfast is really good, the area was not crowded. So we enjoyed it.

Staff were friendly, helpful, and initiative. The hotel itself was comfortable, with a nice pool area, great breakfast, and airy central atrium area. The location was in a slightly industrial scruffy suburb 10min from the town centre, and a little difficult to find. The amenities in the room seemed quite budget for a Mecure, and this lessened the overall feel of the property. That aside a nice friendly comfortable stay.
