One of the "real" B&B in Sardinia, with great hosts ready anytime to provide you with info and maps. Excellent and cosy rooms, beautiful terrace with a view towards the mountains around, clean kitchen and a very decent breakfast.

We stopped in Nuoro only because one of the motorways was blocked hence we had a delay in our travels and it was getting too late to continue. We've found this B&B through one of the accommodation websites and read very good reviews so decided to stay there. When we arrived, looking at the building from the outside wasn't what...

We enjoyed this b&b alot. We slept there for 2 nights, the rooms and the facilities are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is great, with home made yogurt and cake. But the best part is the owners. Max was very friendly and informative, every advice we took from him turned up as an excellent tip. He knows nuoro and the area...

Staying in Nughe 'e' Oro one night while traveling from Alghero airport to Santa Maria Navaresse and one night on our way back. Fast response via email and telephone, flexible services, nice rooms, polite behavior, good breakfast. Everything, what we were expecting, was fulfilled. Max and Carla are very kind.

We really enjoyed our stay here , including the wonderful breakfast with home made yogurt and cake. Massimo was informative with everything to do with Nuoro, he also told us about the newly exhibited incredible statues of Monte Prama, important for us since we really are into the Nuraghe culture. It was a real pleasure to meet him and Carla...

We booked via hotels.com, very much to the surprise of Max and Carla who did not receive any notification. If you make reservations via hotels.com send a mail or call in advance, just to be sure. However, even though we were too early they quickly prepared our room. They really made us feel welcome. At the same moment they gave...

Nice clean room, good view from the common area. Very attentive host. Air conditioning, sixth floor, breakfast ok. Good restaurants in walking distance. Don't know what nuoro's claim to fame is. Little touristic interest. Good view over valley was about it. Wouldn't recommend Nouro, wouldn't go back. B&B ok though

Our introduction to Sardinia was made through this lovely Bed and Breakfast. We used it as a base to explore Nuoro and its surrounds, even though the weather did try to deter us. Max and Carla were very helpful with local knowledge and organised a booking for us in one of the local restaurants, so that we could try some...

I had a really nice stay at Nughe e Oro in June, the room was classy, in quiet part of town & very welcoming ... if you are Lucky, home made cake awaits at breakfast on the terrace. I would recommend this place to anyone visting the area.
