The only reason I'm giving a 4 and not 5 to Porto Sosalinos, is that, despite their advertising of the camping as a "most peaceful place", this is not true. It is a bit TOO family-friendly, if you don't have a family... We came here with my partner, without children , to relax for a week. But we couldn't really relax. There were simply too many children running around the whole day, so a better description for the camping is that it is very peaceful, if you already have a family and don't mind that noise. The location is breathtaking, in the midst of a wonderful pinetree forest, next to a lake and to a beautiful beach. The camping is by far the cleanest camping I've ever seen, it even exceeds regular hotels' cleaninness. The facilities are impeccable! The bathroom and toilets, a work of art, and we were really impressed by the frienliness of the staff, the lounge area and the bar-restaurant. We were also very glad to rent canoes from the camping and relax at the beach, and we loved the fact that there was a seller of fresh fruits and vegetables almost every day, so we could get fresh goodies :) But frankly, for the price we paid, we WERE indeed looking for some peace and quiet. If we'd have known the place would be full of families with really young kids, crying, running and playing the whole day, perhaps we would have stayed somewhere else. We were among the very few people without children at the camping, and had rented a beautiful Indian tent with a kitchen that was close to the beach. Although we loved our tent, we were rather out of the camping because it was simply too noisy because of too many children. Plus we'd wake up too early because of this. When we were coming back at night, of course it was completely quiet, but during the whole day it was buzzing with kids! Don't get me wrong- children are lovely, but their noise can be quite annoying, especially during a holiday. Other than that, the camping is simply AMAZING! And if you have a family, even more so! But if you, like us, are a couple that looks for a romantic getaway in the Sardinian nature, be aware to perhaps book when schools have already started ;) A little friendly advice for the camping: Maybe indeed have guests without kids separated from the rest, in order for them to enjoy some quiet..? In any case, this holiday, because of this amazing location, will remain unforgettable to us!!! Grazie mille Porto Sosalinos!…
We stayed with our two sons in one of the wooden chalets. These chalets are very well maintained, clean and comfortable, the outside terrace is large and perfect for spending your time. The service is very personal and welcoming at the reception and in the restaurant. The food is very tastefull and offers good prices. Restaurant is am outside restaurant , very cosy and stylish. The beach just in front of the camping is beautiful and Suitable for small children. There is no supermarket in the camping but withon 5 min drive you have a supermarket available and you can order fresh Bread at the camping. We al loved this place and hope to be back Some day Be sure to visit spiaggi biberosa, we loved these beaches. The walk is 35 min from the parking place but beautiful and worth iT
We were really impressed with the campsite. Super clean, great restaurant on site, friendly staff and beautiful beaches. It was really laid back and you are able to book activities like kayaking, climbing and coasteering onsite. Also managed to get by with minimal/ basic Italian
We're supposed to stay few days, but we spent our whole holiday at Porto Sosalinos. We just couldn't take the risk to get in a place less quiet, clean and relaxed. Thank you to all the staff for the warm welcome and for the kindness during our stay. We had very special moments... Next time in Sardinia, we'll surely come back.
This campsite is really well maintained, and has loads of really nice pitches. It is very well looked after and feels very relaxing, with hammocks spread around the place. The bar is lovely, with lots of comfortable chairs, the food is good - and there is a small but beautiful beach round the corner from the pitches. The facilities were very clean and there are lovely outside showers to enjoy. There are a LOT of mosquitoes because of the standing water, so you do have to keep up on the repellent, and the staff were not that friendly. We also appeared to be nearly the only people who were not German on the site, which was strange how far it is from Germany!!
