Nice location. A few minutes from the city center, nearby spiaggia del poetto. Great nature. Art Deco style like. Silence. Small but comfortable room 101. They can improve breakfast offer. However, nice experience. Thank you

I wish all hotels and service were like this one. Although in Covid time, they really do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The staff is really friendly and just there to service you.... a big compliment for the staff.

Ideal for a nice relaxing week-end off season. Three star hotel with four star services. Well decorated seaside colors and comfortable rooms. Staff very kind and professional. An excellent position right in front of the Poetto beach. We also had a lovely dinner in their external restaurant on the beach 'Otium'. We certainly will be back. Highly recommended.

On the face of it a nice little hotel on Poetto Beach. A lack of variety of restaurants all serving much the same sort (expensive) food. No swimming pool (we knew that) and the beach not all it’s cracked up to be. Holiday was ruined when €530 was taken from our room and the hotel did not want to know. We suspect that the robbery took place whilst our room was being cleaned (whilst we were sitting on the balcony !) Money was taken from my wallet & the safe. Poetto is dead after 7.30pm, stay in the city. If you want my advice don’t stay at this hotel, the charm of Poetto soon wears off. My dispute with hotel continues.

Response from Hotel Nautilus, Servizi per gli ospiti/front office at Hotel Nautilus
Responded 6 Oct 2020
Dear Fred P, thank you for taking time to write this review. Guests reviews are taking in great consideration from us an help us to grow up and improve our service, because they offer us the possibility to implement our procedures and enhance the experience we offer to our guests. In full respect of your personal opinion about the surroundings of the hotel, restaurants and Poetto beach, we would like to highlight, in the response to your review, that there are many restaurants and bars in the surrounding area and that offer different types of entertainment to meet the needs of those who wish to dine in peace or who love the "movida". With reference to the unfortunate event occurred during your stay, I wish to report that the hotel management and staff, has immediately expressed emphathy for what happened and has provided you with immediate assistance by verifying that there had been any unauthorized access to your room and by accompanying you to the nearest police station to allow you to file a complaint and receive official assistance. Our staff in service is trained on the procedures and scrupulously follows the management's indications in every activity carried out, morover the access to the hotel, due also to Covid-19 prevention, are constantly monitored. We remain available should you need any further assitance from our side, being assured we have acted in compliance with the rules and legality. Best regards Laura Pettinau Hotel Manager

We had a beautiful stay here at Hotel Nautilus last week. We decided to upgrade to a junior suite and it was beautifully spacious (the hot tub was also a lovely touch!) We stayed for 3 nights and it was perfect being right on the beach. Rooms are very clean and modern (we were in 303) and the white and blue decor was lovely. We were also not too for from the centre of Cagliari (15 minute bus journey) - which is so much more affordable than taking a taxi (€1.80 vs €17!) Hotel staff were also lovely - huge thanks to Laura and Luigi for helping us and always being at our service with any queries. The only thing we were not very happy about was the breakfast buffet - the eggs and hot food were usually cold and the quality of the food really does not match up to the hotel. Hotel Nautilus should, in my opinion, be a 4* hotel - but breakfast could definitely be improved and be more fresh. Other than that, an excellent stay and would probably return.
