The place is well located! Just 20 min walking from the city center, there are some spots to have few drinks in front of the hotel, quite place. The toilet was not flushing well, there was sand on our room floor. The breakfast scheme could be improved. The waitresses were doing their jobs well however the table service took so much time. It would be better if the guests could go to the main food table and ask them what they want and walk back to their tables. The food was well protected so the safety measures were well taken.

We had a wonderful week here. The place is kept spotlessly clean and seems to be completely covid compliant. Our room had a wonderful balcony and sea view. We asked for a kettle in reception, and made our own tea and coffee in the room - sitting out on the balcony in the early morning with a cuppa was just magical! Yes the furnishings are a bit old fashioned and the plumbing could do with some attention, but the location and the friendliness of the staff made up for that. Breakfast was not buffet because of the restrictions, and was very slow as the poor waitresses tried to serve everyone, and were a bit frazzeled. But we would definitely go back again.

We stayed as a family in a triple room, which looked so old and tired with broken wardrobe doors, fridge door, towels holders fell off the walls and sink completely blocked. Sink wasn’t resolved for 5 days we stayed, although acknowledged the reception at the first day. I’d rated the hotel of 3 stars just for cleanliness and changing bathroom towels daily. Breakfast is fine but guess due to the virus situation it’s not self service and each time you need to ask what you’d like to order, not always in satisfactory and it’s time consuming for waiting to be served. We visit Alghero every summer and stayed at various places so having that experience have to say that this time is disappointing and we won’t coming back again to soleado! Very average hotel of 3 stars to our opinion.

Spotless. Big room. Sparkling clean pool. In front of the sea. Charming staff at reception. Lovely Luca who is so pleasant and helpful. Value - best we have encountered in almost five months of travelling! We are planning to return next year. Oh. Ps. Weather- perfect every day even in late October, whole week was wonderful.
