We spent 3 nights in this hotel and ejoyed the walking distance to the city center, along nice promenade with the seaview. The neighborhood was nice and calm. The hotel was nice, cleaned every day, offering a warm family atmosphere, where Elisabetta and Marco helped us with everything we needed. There was not only a generous balcony in our room, but also a roof terasse with stunning sea view, where you can enjoy sunsets. The breakfast was simple, but nice to have before exploring Alghero. Covid19 measures were taken while serving, so we felt safe, but still could enjoy our holidays. I’d definitely recommend this hotel!

Dear jaja_juris, thank you very much for the wonderful words spent on our hotel. I am delighted that you appreciated the hotel's location just a few minutes walk along the seafront from the historic center, the comfort and cleanliness, the international breakfast with sweet and savory products at km 0, the panoramic terrace overlooking the Gulf of Alghero above all the courtesy, availability and professionalism of my talented collaborators including Marco and Elisabetta whom they thank. Hoping to be able to welcome you again, I send my best regards also from all the staff.

Myself and my husband booked 3 nights in Hotel Villa Piras. From the minute we walked through the hotel to the minute we left, the staff were horrible, arrogant and obnoxious. It seemed that if you weren’t an Italian, you were a lower class citizen and not worthy of being treated with any respect. Upon arrival we were told we would’ve ‘treated’ to a welcome drink. The ‘welcome drink’ consisted of a champagne glass of diluted orange and a soft bowl of crisps. The room was extremely basic, with broken doors, two single beds pushed together and a fridge that sounded like an engine which kept us awake with its noise. There was a roof top terrace with 2 hot tubs. You couldn’t use them unless you paid 5 euro every time you used them. The water in the tubs was filthy. In addition, the plastic grass which they covered the terrace with would give you 3rd degree burns! The reception area is also outdated and the whole hotel smells of damp. The rule is you have to wear your mask, which is totally acceptable and it is the law but if you forget to put it up, the receptionists bark at you. They do not follow this rule themselves as they quickly pull it up when they hear someone coming. The manager/owner is a bully. He is a very angry little man. The hotel is out for your money as there is a charge for everything. We found this out to our horror when we were paying the bill. Upon checking out we discovered that we were charged over 40 euro because we had used 4 additional towels. 40 euro for what? We didn’t steal the towels, only used extra. Nowhere in the hotels ‘rules’ did it state that we would be charged extra for washing and drying ourselves. When we tried to dispute this, the receptionist said we had to pay or she would get the manager. She did and he roughly and gruffly told us we would have to pay or they would call the police. They did call the police and we waited over an hour for them to come. The manager kept on asking us to move away from the desk and if we didn’t he would charge us an additional nights stay as we were still in the vicinity. I became extremely upset and they simply laughed at me. They all seemed to find the whole experience very funny and seemed to enjoy causing us this upset. The police arrived and we explained the situation. The commanding officer was lovely and explained how it was. He told us we could claim the towel charges back. He was very kind. A horrible hotel with horrible staff. Please go somewhere else.

Dear Dalarrt, we are sorry that your stay in our hotel did not meet your expectations. I must point out, however, that this was solely due to your arrogance and rudeness with which from the beginning of your stay you have provoked and disturbed all the employees. My collaborators are the real engine and strength of the hotel and their professionalism and availability towards customers are unanimously recognized by all those who have had the pleasure of staying there. His description of the facts is nothing more than a free hodgepodge of lies that we believe we do not deserve. As for the personal offenses against my person, I need to reply in the appointed offices. With best regards

The staff were really helpful. The location was really good, we strolled to and from the old town. Found a few good restaurants. The breakfast service was good. I would return to this hotel in the future.

It is a bad hotel. We got a room on the ground floor. The view from terrace you can look at the picture. :( Next to the kitchen or bar...i don't know exactly, but at midnight they packed bottles or bearbarrel or something else. It was terrible. We weren't able to sleep the whole night . You can hear everything also from the neighbor room. Our neighbor phoned a lot in the night in English, and we could understand everything. TV is a monitor large, so you can't enjoy it. The room and bathroom is big enough.

We stayed here only for one night and I wish we could have stayed longer. It is located ca. 20 minutes walk to the old town, very quiet area. The receptionist Massimo was very friendly, he welcomed us with a drink and told us what we can do in Alghero etc. He also saved us next morning as we found out that our boiler was switched off. He came upstairs to our room and fixed it. The hot tub is offered by external service and costs 5 euro during the day until 9 pm and 10 afterwards. For 30 minutes. Which is ok, considering the great view and the special experience. Very recommended
