We stayed for two nights in a suite room, which was actually only a single room. Even it was bigger than usual, its not a suite at all. The view above the ocean was stunning and Roberta is very friendly! Downside of this location: in Fertillia is nothing, like literally nothing. It is doomsday mood! Though there's a diving centre close by, some nice beaches. Major advice, if you end up there, go having dinner in Alghero.

Hosted by the efficient and pleasant Rafaella this was the perfect base for our 2 week stay in Alghero. Location is on the best side of Alghero with easy access to all the nice beaches. The room was clean and comfortable and quiet and included the essential air conditioning that made us sleep well at night. Only downside is that there is no communal area with a bar or restaurant.

My husband, son and I stayed in the Junior Suite with sea view and the balcony and view was spectacular. However our friends stayed in a Duluxe Room with sea view but their room was fairly basic. So if you can afford it, book the Junior Suite! Although simple in design, it was spotlessly clean and nice and bright. The bathroom was large but unfortunately had a tiny shower cubicle. Breakfast was good with lots on offer. Rafaella was lovely, although her English was limited! We had opted to stay outside of Alghero for a number of reasons, and we were pleased we did. I was actually quite disappointed in Alghero itself as I found it extremely touristy. Yes, a lovely old town but it had a tackiness about it which let it down. Fertilia is a pretty average town itself and very quiet, but remarkably, it had two fantastic places to eat. One was Il Paguro, a short walk from the hotel. We went there twice and the food was probably the best we had in Sardinia. The other was Officine, which was in a lovely setting and had a very cool vibe. Also great just for a cocktail. I would definitely recommend staying in the Junior Suite at Villa Grachira.

Villa Grachira is a small hotel (13 rooms) with stunning sea views. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast on the terrace is also very good. There is direct access to the sea from the hotel onto a rocky area where you can sunbathe or swim in the crystal clear waters. It is located in the small and quiet town of Fertilia. There is not much to do in Fertilia but if you like peace and quiet, it is the perfect place. Alghero is very close by, and has lots of bars and restaurants as well as lots of tourists.

We spent some wonderful days in Villa Grachira. We appreciated the tranquility of the place. The staff was really helpful and friendly. The owner was very kind and caring. The villa is just on the seashore and the sea view from the terrasse is amazing. The apartment was very clean. The airport and Alghero is in a reasonable distance. We hope to return in the future.
