I have visited this establishment 5 times and every time it is a place that rejuvenates my soul. It is a place to retreat from modern "noise" and emerse yourself in nature. The village has a bar, a shop and the convenience of a second bar on the beach- where you can easily purchase refreshments. The cabins are modern and comfortable and fully fitted with Aircon and all amenities. The sunset is something everyone should experience once in their life and the buck that come out at night on the beach are just magical!

Nice swimming pool but: - cold showers, - children are adult at 10! - check in OK but horrible check out. The employee didn't agree that we stay 1-2 hours after 10:00 am (we arrived at 5:30 pm 2 days before with 3 children). To justify her lack of understanding/sensibility, she said that it was because of the Covid ... even if the camping was far to be full. All the other campings in which we went where in the same situation (they were honestly complaining not to be full because of the lack of clients due to the Covid and not trying to justify a lack of client service with the Covid) and it was never a problem to leave a bit later even if the check out was always not sooner than 11:00 am.

Despite the days we were in were very windy, we appreciate the beautiful bay and beach. The location and the village per se are also very nice, with a playground for kids, a nice big pool and small one for kids. However, the staff (especially at the bar) was unfriendly and it seems like we were bothering them - exception and the main office and at the restaurant, where the ladies were super nice. House was not well cleaned when we arrived, sheets were not cleaned and we asked for a replacement (we were given one without complaints). We stayed there for 3 nights, and all 3 mornings there were workers drilling behind our house from 9am. Is not early morning but you obviously don't want to hear that sound during your holidays .. Except for masks wearing, I did not see sanitisation of public areas such as tables at the bar, playground, pool chairs etc.

The location/beach at Torre Porticciolo is breath-taking. The sunset and coast is very picturesque. However... the actual holiday village lacked life. The staff we unbelievably unfriendly, mostly rude. It felt as if they're not happy working there, and when you've not got a happy team, unfortunately, that creates a bad atmosphere. To be fair the lady in the main office was quite nice and friendly, but that's as far as the compliments go. A few examples... There's two designated electric car (Tesla) chargers, but no real signs telling people to respect the space. Which meant we couldn't park there to charge. Even one of the directors parked in the spot!! I wrote a message saying "Tesla parking" and just got a reply saying "yes", but didn't move their vehicle. After three nights struggling, I asked them to put a sign up, which they did, but, unbelievably, people still parked in the spot. The restaurant food was average. Fine, but service was slow and without a smile, we decided to give it a second chance on the 4th night but gave up waiting 40 minutes for them to come and take our order. For food we went down the road to Agriturismo Porticciolo which was fabulous! Unfortunately we only discovered how good it was on the last night, be sure to book in advance. The mobile home we rented was basic but clean. Be prepared to take plenty of mosquito spray! It's fair to say we won't be returning to this village at Torre del Porticciolo, but we'll definitely go back to Sardinia, such a beautiful place.
