The room was adequate but tired. The carpet was stained and dusty around the edges. There was dust on the bedside tables and dirty window frames. The bathroom was OK but needed a good clean. The shower door frame didn't fit very well and was corroded and the shower head rail was very loose on the wall. The grouting and sealant around the tiles in the shower was mouldy. The air conditioning was broken the fridge (minibar) was also not working, the Staff say sorry but that’s all. Trying to get some soda, but it was not possible. there wasn't a restaurant. I then asked if I could have a coffee in the lounge. She said there was no coffee or tea making facilities. We asked if there was tea/coffee making in the room, no was the answer. Breakfast was ok. I were very disappointed with the GRANDE ALBERGO INTERNAZIONALE. It is supposed to be a 4 star hotel and the best in Brindisi. It is just a GLORIFIED BED and BREAKFAST with a very nice view. I would not recommend this hotel at all.…

On arrival, the position of the hotel and view was spectacular. We went to reception and waited for 10 minutes or so and nobody came. I went to look for some one and found a man and lady talking loudly (arguing) in a little room behind what looked like the bar. The woman came to reception and proceeded to book us in. My wife asked if we could book a table in the restaurant for our evening meal. She said there wasn't a restaurant. We then asked if we could have a coffee in the lounge. She said there was no coffee or tea making facilities. We asked if there was tea/coffee making in the room, no was the answer. The room was adequate but tired. It is supposed to be a 4 star hotel and the best in Brindisi. It is just a GLORIFIED BED and BREAKFAST with a very nice view. I would not recommend this hotel at all.…

We have no complaints - clean, comfortable, and old-fashioned, but in a nice way. It is located at the water's edge and near the ferry landing. And a short walk from the Old City and the modern town. To tell you the truth, Brindisi is so small that almost any place you take will be convenient. I could also walk to the train station from the hotel in about 15 minutes. Breakfast was very good, with a large variety. Also reasonably priced. Enjoy your stay there!

The palace is really nice but requires some work. The shower is small and dirty and has not been changed for a while . My room was spacious but nothing inside . No kettler , tv with local channels only . Staff very helpful
