Outside of town, quite uninteresting area. Friendly receptionist informed us the service is low because of Christmas holidays. That was true, changing a light bulb was a do-it-yourself job because of lack of personnel. The room was of good size, clean and well furnished, even with an armchair for comfortable reading. But there was not enough light in the room to read, nor to work with the computer. I opened the wardrobe, where I, instead of finding a bathrobe and a pair of slippers like I had found in another AC in Brescia a few days earlier, I found ‘“The Book of Mormon”! My first thought was it must have been left there by another hotel guest, but no, I heard from other persons staying there that there was one in every room. OK, no further comment. The breakfast was good and checking out fast and effective. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, though, for obvious reasons.

I have booked 2 standard rooms for a one night stop. The hotel is really close to the motorway and it has a large parking lot. Staff was helpfull. Our rooms were clean, spacious and modern. The weakpoint was that we could have only separate rooms because the place doesn’t have connected rooms. We have visited the historical city center and we also have dinner there. We took a taxi which arrived fast and I have paid 12 euros for our journey. The selection of food for breakfast was excellent and the price was 12 EUR/adult, free for children. Eggdishes had an extra cost of 5 EUR.

About 5km away from the downtown area--which is far enough away, but makes it challenging to find places to eat at night (there's two restaurants close by and the hotel does offer dinner). Check-in was easy and the receptionist was polite and welcoming. Room was big with a desk and sitting chair. Bathroom included a shower/tub combo. Bed was not as firm as I'd have liked it, but the pillows were good and thick which provided good support. I liked the fact that there was no carpet in the room. Towels were clean and soft--even provided face towels! Minibar in the room was a good touch with water and soft drinks. Closet to hang clothes, but no drawers provided to stack clothes. Showerhead needed a cleaning as the water spraying out got everywhere except on me. (ha!) Taxi to the downtown area ranges between 10 and 15 euros. Breakfast was good but busy--lots of different options to try. Would stay here again---AC worked like a champ!
