This hotel claims to be a 4-star property but don't let that fool you. It's anything but. Upon arriving, I was immediately disappointed by the location and the hotel's exterior. It's situated in an area that's not very pleasant and you need a car to get to Vicenza's historical center, so it's not very convenient. Their parking lot was completely consumed by a giant tour bus so I had to park in the lot of a store nearby. Upon check-in, the first thing I was told was that their restaurant was closed for renovation and "maybe you can find some food in the shopping mall down the street". This was a complete surprise because the hotel advertised their restaurant as being open and I intended on eating there since it had been a long day. There was a tiny bar to the left of the check-in desk but no one was working at it, so I had no choice but to drive around this dismal part of the city looking for something to eat and drink. My room was also a let down. The bed was about 8 inches off the floor, and the mattress sat on a crude frame with cheap thin wooden slats. With the bed incredibly low, my head was so close to the floor that it bothered my allergies. The TV remote did not work. The room was too hot and I could not lower the thermostat so I had to open the window (which looked out onto a mildew covered abandoned-looking terrace attached to another building. The pool they advertised was closed...when a property does not offer the amenities they claim they have, there should be accountability. I paid for a 4-star hotel and got a lousy 1-star hotel that was horribly overpriced. Nothing about this place was appealing. The only thing that went ok was check-out because it went quickly. I would never stay here again and I do not recommend it to others.…
This hotel is conveniently close to the motorway and is also within walking distance to the local shopping centre which includes a supermarket, gelaterie and other shops and restaurants. Breakfast was a very good buffet selection including, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, cakes and pastries, bread, pancakes, bacon, sausage and egg, cold meats and cheeses as well as fruit juice and hot drinks. The swimming pool is open from June 1st so we were there on the first day it opened. It was well-maintained and a welcome treat in the warm weather. Towels were provided free of charge if required. The sun terrace/garden is lovely particularly with the jasmine bush flowering! Parasols and deckchairs available. Room standard with mini bar. Spacious en-suite. View overlooked front car park and out towards hills. Everything was perfect for our needs. Thank you! …
Quite clean, spacious room with all comforts and good quality of sleep. The hotel is not central but offers parking lots for free - it is definitely to be chosen if you have got a car. I had not the breakfast in the premises.
I quite enjoyed this hotel. The breakfast was amazing! The facilities were clean, the wine good, and the staff great. And it's location next to the mall was wonderful. And the restaurant was awesome! The amenities such as the pool and gym were nice. I really have nothing negative to say about this place!
Fruits from tin cans!!! Regular bread only, coffie and juice from a terrible machine. The swimming pool costs extra money, although it doesnt mentioned anywhere.we are paying a lot of money for the dinner and its like they doing us a favor. I think they just dont like tourists.
