Excellent staff. Elegant room with antique furniture and parquet floor. Spacious, elegant and comfortable bathroom with whirlpool. Comfortable and welcoming halls. Convenient position next to the railway station and city centre.
This is the second time I have spent a week at this hotel. The staff is excellent, they go out of their way to solve issues and do so quickly. The rooms are large and well laid out. It is located in the historical center of Vicenza and a short walk from the train station.
We used poor judgement and booked this hotel after having a poor experience in the past. We thought that since the hotel was previously under restoration that perhaps it would have improved our second time round. But it was terribly poor in so many ways. I suggest the staff improve their temperaments...we were treated with such disdain. Our room was not one of the spacious rooms they advertise on their site, instead it was small and somewhat dated. The only plus we can add is the location being so close to city centre. Otherwise it is disappointing in so many ways. From erratic climate control to a breakfast with people not observing Covid-19 restrictions, it was a true mess. We shall never return.
Conveniently located a few minutes' walk from the train and bus stations and inside the old city, the hotel also has a parking lot and is very quiet as it overlooks the park. I slept in a clean and reasonably sized single room with a bathroom with a window. Up to its four-star standard. The staff was very nice and helpful.
We chose this hotel primarily for the location as it is within minutes walking distance of the main pedestrian street, restaurants and shops of this beautiful, walkable city. It had several other pluses, though, to include an extremely helpful and friendly staff, two large, nearby park areas and easy access to the train station. Parking is available and windows are such that you are not disturbed by any noise, even though during our stay there was a fun fair set up in one of the parks. The room, and the rest of the hotel, were kept very clean and hand sanitizers were placed throughout. COVID restrictions were being carefully followed. We took our dog with us on this trip and the hotel was pet friendly. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Vicenza.
