I came to stay at CityHotel Cristina because I had to be in Vicenza for a week long business trip. The atmosphere is charming, quiet, clean and very hospitable - exactly what I like in a hotel. The front desk staff couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. The hotel in general, and including my room, was very comfortable, private and beautifully maintained by the staff. Since I'm here for business, I haven't had much of an opportunity to explore the city, but when I return with my husband for a vacation, we will certainly stay here again.
Our room was clean and adequate in every way. Room safe and a refrigerator stocked with complimentary juice and water. Very nice breakfast, which was included. The location is excellent. Walking distance to the train station, next to a beautiful park, nearby places to eat and very close to the historic area of town. The have a small elevator which is big enough to hold two people without luggage. I was very happy with our stay here and would recommend this place to friends.
Very helpful and good service. I had a room on first floor and it was big and spacious with a nice bathroom. The room was clean and the bed and pillows comfortable. The breakfast was nice since you could have healty choice with diffrent fruits and vegetables, yougurts and nuts and a really good omelett! The location is good, 7-8 min to central station and maybe 4 min to the old town. I would definitly choose this hotel again since it was good value for money.
My wife and I stayed 2 nights with a prepaid reservation. After arriving on the noon train from Verona, we walked 600 meters northwest to this hotel. An English speaking clerk took our passports, issued our room key and escorted us to the 4 person elevator. Our good sized #130 had a comfortable king with 2 shelved nightstands, refer(including 2 complimentary bottles of juice and 2 water) with safe above, table and chair, closet,, small wall TV(no English), and fully outfitted but tight bathroom(sink is over sized) with small glass shower. A double insulated window and door(to small balcony) overlook the private enclosed parking. Although no hot pot, I procured hot water at the bar for coffee/tea in our room. We enjoyed quiet nights, secure wifi, and a well serviced 7AM breakfast buffet of high quality foods. Walking only 280 meters E to the Euro Spar on the way into the city center sights, makes this hotel a good value.…
Location excellent. Rooms very basic but clean enough. Fine if looking for a budget hotel that you won't spend much time in. Bathroom was decent to be fair, shower took time to heat up but got there in the end and dribbled a bit but could wash ok.No curtain on window made light come in too easily. There was a shutter thing outside but not sure how to work it. wifi was good. Service friendly. The lift is hilariously small, had to get in sideways as doors are tiny. I would stay here again as it is cheap but fine.
