This is our favorite hotel for visiting Venice. It is 10 min to the Grisignano di Zocco train station which is a straight 63 min train ride into S. Lucia, the main train station into Venice. It is a great central location for visiting Sirmone at Lake Garda (1 hour 11 min) and 47 min to Verona. The train into Venice is only 6 euros one way per person. The hotel is gorgeous and tranquil. It is completely quiet. This is our 5 th visit. We always get the 35 meter suite. It is huge with a power shower. There is an adorable table and four chairs as well as a flat tv, a comfortable bed and two sitting chairs. It is so lovely that sometimes we get food to go at the nearby grocery store just to eat in the room. We were there in June 2020 and it was 99 degrees f. The air conditioning was cold! It was wonderful! The breakfast might be my favorite part. Roberta makes homemade sweet cakes and serves them along with a plate of cheese, fluffy eggs, yogurt, fruit plate, homemade jams. She also served fresh coffee grown locally and a carafe of both water and orange juice. Our table was full from food. Roberta and her mother run the place completely. They couldn't be more genuinely kind. This was accidentally tested this week as my husband left his bag on the train. We called them from the train station to help us. Our car keys were in the lost bag so we were stuck. The mother, Gabriella, rescued us from the train station and called the police. This took over an hour on waiting for them to check the train. Then the next day she contacted the police and asked for help at the train station as a traveler found it. She then took us to the Vicenza train station and after contacting police and waiting for our bag, took us back to the other train station where our car was. They had around 5 hours of time lost on us. Then they wouldn't let us pay them. They were both so kind and loving. We truly adore them! The place could not be cleaner. I always thought that and this time I see the cleaning lady washing the table and chairs in another room. The free Wi Fii works great! There is plenty of free parking. Be sure to visit Beerstro a few minutes away for the best Pizza ever!

The family hosts were so warm and friendly! Gabriela (the mom) checked us in since we arrived late afternoon. Sweet lady! We normally had contact with Roberta (the daughter) since she was in the lobby each morning during breakfast. After breakfast she would give us advice on our day trips which were extremely helpful since it was our first time in the Veneto region. Roberta treated us and all of the guests so good. The location is great! It's just off of the main highway (S11). The S11 also runs parallel to the autostrada (A4). You must have a car to get around. It's close proximity to Vincenza, Padua, Varona, and many other destinations depending on interests. We were even able to take a full day and drive around Lake Garda which is stunning. Also, the location is about a 45 minute drive to Marco Polo airport. Our room was clean, fresh and modern. We loved the large bright bathroom with a great shower. It was nice to have a bathroom that was bright so that you can actually see. Very nice room with hardwood flooring. We stayed during a quieter time of year but I imagine during peak season it is very busy so I would recommend getting a room on the top floor. There is a lift/elevator for those not able to use the beautiful wood staircase. The breakfast was delightful and plentiful! Our favorite part of it was the home-baked goodies from Roberta. There was a large variety of Italian cakes and cookies. In addition there was fresh fruit, yogurt, cheeses, prosciutto, cereal, bread, homemade jams, juices, coffee and tea. We would linger during breakfast and enjoy the beautiful dining room and outdoor scenery before beginning a very busy day of sightseeing. This agriturismo is highly recommended! We've only been home for 10 days and I'm ready to return.

A family run B&B of Agritourismo. In a typical old but very nicely refurbished farmhouse that mainly cultivates rice. Very comfortable rooms. Superb breakfast table in a large room. Mother and daughter - always with great smiles, extremely helpful. If ever we can return to the region we will go to no other place. 15 minutes drive to the city.

The second time we have stayed here, we chose to come back for longer to explore more of Vicenza, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this wonderful B&B. Located at the heart of a working farm (hence agriturismo), it is definitely off the beaten track in lovely peaceful gardens with a lake, but still only 20 minutes from either Vicenza or Padua. Set in a big converted farm building with whitewashed walls and giant arched windows onto the breakfast room, everything is immaculately clean and tidy. The rooms are gorgeous, well-equipped and with comfortable beds and excellent modern bathrooms, complete with bidet and powerful shower. What makes this special, though, is the breakfast. Coming down the wide natural wood staircase each morning, you are greeted by the most spectacular array of delicious cakes and cookies (perhaps 20 different types, all home-baked), alongside the more common continental breakfast items including sliced meats, cheeses, cereals and yoghurts. Plus a delicious, still-in-the-pan cheese omelette. La Risarona has its own cookbook, and no wonder. Enjoying a leisurely breakfast in the lovely dining room overlooking the lake through the vast arched windows - and going back for more cake and coffee - ranks as one of our favourite experiences of the holiday. La Risarona is also an ideal stop-over if you are flying from Venice Marco Polo airport too, as we did - the journey takes around 45 minutes. A wonderful and inexpensive place to stay, highly recommended.

This is an excellent place to stay, it is a lovely building which is beautifully equipped. Our room was very big with a large shower that had massage output. All the rooms are quiet due to the fields that surround the house .The breakfast was a buffet with juices, yoghurts, cereals and cheese with ham, breads, croissants, homemade jams and a huge variety of homemade biscuits and cakes. nothing was too much trouble, advice about the area, the attractions etc. They were most understanding when my husband was unwell. I would not hesitate to return!
