Travellers' Choice
The hotel is one of the most important and historical hotels of the city centre and it is located in the Stradella dei Nodari , a central pedestrian street near Piazza dei Signori which is the heart of the city . The hotel is famous for hosting great artists who were performing at the Teatro Olimpico during the end of the 20th century. The artists have been fascinated by the main and beautiful staircase which connect the entrance and the upper floors, typical of the old palaces, and by the terrace with a breathtaking view of the city's roofs. The old building from the beginning of the 20th century has 23 rooms including 4 suites and 8 junior suites arranged in 4 floors. At the 5th floor there is a panoramic terrace , from where you can enjoy an amazing view going from Monte Berico, to the Little Dolomites, to the San Giacomo Church , Santo Stefano Dome, San Vincenzo. You can immediately recognize the Basilica Palladiana from the green coverage that stand out in the middle of the city. These are the beautiful monuments which are symbols of Vicenza and masterpieces of the great Vicenza's architect Andrea Palladio. SERVICES Elegance, style and staff knowledge characterize the Antico Hotel Vicenza, which is the perfect location for a relaxing escape from stress . The American breakfast buffet offers a fine selection of local products to taste and to start your day in the best way. The bar is always open for a coffee or a glass of wine while you are reading a book taken from our library . Unbeatable location, steps away from Basilica Palladiana. Very friendly, helpful staff, gave us an upgrade, allowed to shorten one night without cost. Great view from the room, even better from the rooftop bar. Parking on narrow streets can be slightly difficult, but it was an acceptable trade-off for staying right in the city center.

Great location just around the corner from Vincenza’s historic central square. The room was really comfortable in a classic, old-school style. The staff was very competent & congenial. The menu is limited, but really appreciated the staff’s willingness to provide suitable alternate choices.

This is a very well organised and well staffed hotel. Ultra clean and comfortable. What was most impressive was the staff -- wonderful caring, professional people. Federica, Chiara, Vanessa, Elena, Anastasia and Dohit. Best place to stay in Vicenza

I stayed at the Antico Hotel on a recent business trip. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the train station, on a small side street a few steps from the Piazza Dei Signori. There is a rooftop terrace that offers great views of the old city. My room was comfortable and relatively spacious. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I hope to return.

Enjoyed a few days at the Antico Hotel in Vicenza. Centrally located, only a 10 minute walk from the station. I would describe the hotel as a very clean and a little quirky. The hotel is located close to shops, markets and local landmarks. We were within walking distance of everything we wanted to visit during our stay. The desk staff were always very friendly and helpful. View from upstairs terrace is absolutely amazing. Breakfast was buffet style and quite good. The hotel do offer coffee but charge for this service.
