We have stayed at many lovely b&b's but this one is the best. To summarise; The property is conveniently located around 15 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from Verona city centre. It is also well situated for visiting other tourist attractions such as Lake Garda. Our hosts warmly welcomed us into their delightful home and were particularly friendly and helpful. We were collected and dropped off at the airport and driven to and from the city centre each day. They also booked us a table at an excellent restaurant. The tastefully furnished room was immaculate and very comfortable and had the benefit of a modern ensuite shower and bathroom. Breakfast was a particular highlight, with a superb spread of meats and cheeses and home made bread, jams and pastries. Highly recommended. Our stay mirrors all the other positive reviews from previous guests.…
We were welcomed with freshly backed pastries and wine, our room and bathroom were large, the shower has good pressure and the breakfasts were magnificent! Anna baked something fresh each morning and there was so many different things to eat we did not need lunch. This was by far the best breakfast we had during our 3 weeks in Italy. Marco gave us great tips on where to go for dinner and which sites to visit as well as driving us into town and to and from the train station. We will definitely return to see an opera in the coliseum
My husband and I stayed at this lovely B&B in September 2019. It was the best of all our B&B experiences throughout our stay in Italy. This was because Marco and his parents made us feel like family and so welcome. It is very evident that they put a lot of love into everything they do so that guests are comfortable throughout their stay. Marco makes homemade bread for guests, mama makes beautiful cakes, fresh juices and papa makes 5 kinds of homemade jams and other delicacies. The breakfasts were hands down the best we had on our whole trip. The room was spotlessly clean, quiet and the bed and the linens/pillows were very comfortable and high-end. Like other reviewers I was a little hesitant to book here since the location was not in the city center (about 5-10 mins from Verona city center). However, I am so glad we decided to stay here in the end. Marco gladly shuttles you to/from the city center at any time. Communication was very easy and I used What's App before and during our stay to communicate with him. We did not have a car and he picked us up from the train station upon our arrival. For those who rent a car, it's a perfect place to use as your base to explore the surrounding area. If you do go to Verona, I highly recommend a lovely pasta shop, La Bottega della Gina, that makes homemade tortellini and lasagna that you order at the counter and then can eat on site. A few last words about Il Maestro, book this amazing B&B without delay. They only have three rooms so fill up quickly especially considering this well deserved 5 star rating.…
This was by far the best b&b my husband and I have ever stayed in. Marco, Anna and Pepe made us so welcome. They provide a first class service to meet your needs. The breakfast is plentiful and varied, including fresh grown fruit and homemade cakes. Beautifully decorated bedroom/bathroom. We will definitely be returning!
It is our second time at Il Maestro. Our stay in Verona last summer was too short so we decided to come back and of course to stay at Il Maestro, the best BandB I have ever stayed in. Beautiful rooms, extremely confortable and nicely decorated. Marco and his family are exceptional hosts going out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The breakfast is amazing, so good and so abundant. We'll come back a third time for sure !
