Corte San Mattia (there's another San Mattia down the road: very confusing) is a pretty agriturismo with a winery Giovanni Ederle owned by them, so if you stay you can book a winery tour & tasting too. The agriturismo isn't in the heart of Verona, but if you have a car or willing to wait for a bus, it can...

The description said the farm stay was rustic, but it was really quite an elegant inn. The food was excellent, a fair amount locally grown, but prepared in a gourmet fashion. Also had a beautiful view of the city.

Overall very happy with our stay. Helpful and friendly staff, with good advise on how to see Verona. Confortable facilities, and ample bedroom. Reasons for not giving an "excellent": wifi was really slow, and not strait forward to connect. The fridge in the room did not seem to be working. Aparently, if youi want fresh towels, it will be charged,...

What a stunning location! You can experience a rural element to your holiday while having the city of Verona on your doorstep. We stayed for 3 nights at San Mattia in an apartment which was spottless and well equiped for cooking if you wished. For us brits, it even had a kettle! Rare in Italy. Ha ha. We didn't have...

The room and all amenities were great. The location was a little hard to reach by bus, so a 15 euro taxi was needed to get there from downtown. However, the experience was so unique to us because we never stayed at a farmstay before. All their wine and food was so good -- we will definitely do something like...

We highly recommend this location for your stay in Verona - the views over the city at any time of day are enchanting. The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable (we were in the Locandia building separate from the main building). Breakfast is varied, high quality, and can be enjoyed quietly on the terrace overlooking Verona. The tour of the...

We would both recommend staying at this farm. The staff before booking were very helpful, and let us know the procedure for collecting our keys as we would be arriving late. The room was found easily, and an envelope was provided with instructions to find the room. There was a great spread for breakfast and the staff were very friendly...

My wife and I were traveling for 2 weeks celebrating our 4 year wedding anniversary. I have to say that this was one of our favorite places to stay. The level of professionalism and helpfulness (especially to us traveling Americans) was top notch! Marco (who checked us in) was absolutely fantastic! Very knowledgable about the agriturismo, helpful in giving us...

We, unfortunately, only stayed a night. Amazing views, great food and fantastic premises. The view over Verona is breathtaking! We had dinner (a set menu) which was excellent. The kids enjoyed their kids meals too. We also stayed for breakfast which was really nice. Our family suite was really clean and huge. Rooms have great character. The only issue we...
