Great place on top of the hill with spectacular view on Verona. Spacious apartment with nice furniture. Privat parking in the garden next to the apartment. Small walk to the main building for breakfast with delicious products from their own garden. Dinner is also very good and the wines from their own vineyard is great.

We visten this place in the summer but were really disappointed with the quality of the accommodation and even the food in the restaurant, we arrived on a hot Sat afternoon and upon arrival at reception were given instruction to our accommodation, which was def not next door to the main building, in fact we had to take our car and drive a few mins down a very narrow road and the gate to our accommodation (Mimosa) was very tricky to open. When we got inside the accommodation we were surprised to see how basic it was, no TV and no hot water even from the shower, The grounds around the building were also not that well maintained and the whole place looked in poor condition, Our evening meal was also not much better, it took the staff 1 whole hour to serve us and our meals were dry and my husband had to send back his chicken. The restaurant was also very unsuitable for kids and several of the other guests did not look pleased that we had young children. We thankfully checked out the next day and drove to the Dolomites to a much better hotel which was far more child friendly, We certainly won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone visiting Verona.

My Family's time at Corte San Mattia was less than 24 hours, but the memory will last a lifetime. We were well taken care of rom wine for my wife and me to drinks for my children as the staff ensured our unit was ready for occupancy. We stayed in the *Torre* House with View #18 independent lodging next to the main building. Great stay with 14 and 16 year old children (each had their own bedroom). Wi-fi kept the kids busy while the wife and I did the "Just You and Me" wine tour and tasking. The experience was great with Andres (name/spelling) as our guide. We experienced the wine production process and sat for detailed tasting of various wines and local food products. Highly recommend staying at Corte San Mattia.
