We stayed for a 1 night stopover in Verona before our flight the next day. It is a lovely little place with a very nice breakfast in the morning. Room was slightly small for a triple but had the most comfortable beds and pillows. Excellent service and very homely atmosphere. Easy access to center of Verona by car in 12 mins.
It’s a lovely place conveniently located between Verona and Garda Lake. The rooms have everything you can possibly need and are beautifully decorated with great attention to details. Beds are extremely comfortable. Very good breakfast
It was a rather bumpy start, as we were checked in into a 3 person mini-suite, not 2 double rooms that we booked. After we showed our reservation, things have improved- we got an extra room on hotel's account at a place nearby and we got two double room for 2 subsequent nights, although we had to change rooms for that. In all other respects, this place is good- corteous services, clean rooms and a good location- 15 min drive to the historic centre of Verona and proximity to motorway for travel elsehwere (Lake Garda, Mantua, etc.)
We have spent several days in family in this B&B. As nothing is perfect, here are the positives and negatives for La Magia Dei Sogni. I have to stipulate that we have stayed in the white building (not the green one) Positives: - People are kind and always ready to help you - relatively isolated (but there is also a negative) - nice swimming pool - nice backyard - Good breakfast - room well decorated Negative: - room is small for 3 - some amenities were not functioning correctly (air conditioning, safeguard box, ...), but were repaired during our stay. Lack of maintenance - contrarily to what the pictures look like, the breakfast is not an open buffet - Even if the place is relatively isolated it is close to a speedway and the airport. When you are outside, it could be loudy, but inside it was not a problem - water of the swimming pool is fresh (to not say cold) Conclusion We have enjoyed our stay, but I would not recommend this b&b for a family of 3…
Very nice place with very friendly and extremely helpful hosts! 8 km away from the city you find nice and cozy rooms within an extensive and beautiful garden, including sun loungers and parasols around a nice pool. The breakfast is more than appropriate and the place very clean and inviting. Parking is available on the ground. Please don't forget to ask the owners, where to park and eat in the city. Highly recommended!
This B&B is about a 12 minute drive from city center . If you have a car it’s an excellent place to stay . Very peaceful and quiet setting away from the hustle and bustle of the city . Rooms are comfortable and clean as is the entire property. The owners and staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We would not hesitate to stay here again next time we are in the area.
We had really an amazing stay at this B&B!! It felt like a home! What you see is what you get:)! Room was clean and very cosy, we had a lovely place to sit outside!! Personnel was really really kind and helpful (especially with the obligation of testing for Corona since we are from the Netherlands). we are very greatful that they helped us so very well! Good breakfast, you can choose whatever you want and change/ask for more. Very nice tips for restaurant in the neighbourhood and the city center! Personnel always available to help! I really recommend to go there!
A very peaceful spot outside the city with pretty garden & natural pool. Definitely need a car to stay here. Everywhere very clean and well kept. Lovely breakfast selection. Bedroom very comfortable. Owner on site and did everything possible to make our stay a good one. We ate a few evenings at local places ( not in the city) where we had good food in the company of locals. Only way to access Verona is really by car and best to pay up and park in one of the main car parks.
A lovely place to stay outside Verona - quiet yet 5 min from the motorway, so super convenient to visit the region We had a nice room set in a nice garden Host are really nice and friendly (and helpful to guide you to nice local restaurants) Negative points: - the aircon was barely working, we would have likes 3 or 4 degres less to sleep better - you need to rent pool towel and it is forbidden to take the owns from the room - breakfast is limited but there are paying options - obviously at the week-end people from the surroundings can pay to use the pool, so not that quiet and many smokers
This far exceeded our expectations even though had been highly recommended by a friend. The setting is idyllic, a peaceful antidote to a busy city break visiting Verona. We spent 5 nights here and didn't want to leave. Some reviewers have criticised the remoteness of the location, but we specifically wanted the quiet. You either need to hire a car; you've then got the hassle of parking or spend a similar amount on taxis, as we did. I rarely sleep well on holiday due to the beds; I've never slept so well - adjustable beds and stay cool memory matresses. Last but not least, you will not come across more hospitable hosts in Ghandi and Paola, nothing was too much trouble.
