Upon flying in to Milan, and taking a short train ride to Verona on our way to Venice (31 October 2018), we chose the Hotel Martini because it was close to the train station. It was a bit difficult to find but our phone's GPS really helped us. Safe neighborhood. Spartan, but

My boyfriend and I stayed for one night, because it was close to the train station (400m) and we were leaving early the next morning. If it hadn’t been for that, we would rather stayed closer to the city senter where all the nice restaurants and monuments are. It took us 15min

What an interesting thing: what you have written here now is COMPLETELY different from what you have written on hotels.com a few days ago! On hotels.com you have written: CHECK IN: rude staff. But no one have been rude with you. No one have insulted you. No one have argued with you. No one have treated you in a bad way. You only had the impression that the check out man was 'in a bad mood'. Probably he was just very busy to check out all the guests as soon as possible to let them go and not wait too long for the bill! ROOM: poor WiFi, terrible bed, dirty. If more than 2000 guests rated the WiFi 9/10, it means that it can't be that 'poor', isn't it? Bed has a pretty new orthopedic mattress. Probably at home you prefer a too much soft mattress, but we can't allow our guests to sleep over broken beds. There was lipstick on a cup? We are very sorry, it is clearly a mistake. A very little mistake that can be fixed in just 1 minute calling the reception. Some lipstick on a cup (and everyone knows how difficult is to completely remove lipstick's stains) doesn't mean that the whole hotel is dirty!! LOCATION: noisy. But now it has magically become 'not too noisy'. Probably in the next 2 days will become 'not noisy at all'. Recapping: couple of days ago on hotels.com the Hotel was the worst place on earth, but now, on TripAdvisor, it has become 'ok for one night'. Why this sudden change of opinion? Maybe cause we have publicly complained about your lies (with name and surname) on hotels.com? When you decide to rate the work of other people, you MUST BE HONEST, cause we appreciate constructive criticism, but we can't suffer lies. Moreover, since we always reply, no lie can live for a long time!

Just in front of the Hotel there is a FREE PUBLIC PARKING. Usually you can always find a parking place there, but we cannot ensure that. If you want we have a private underground garage that costs 8,00 EUR for 24 hours.
