Great location! Great price! Great view of the city center! Bed was very comfortable! Had our own balcony and recreate you own Romero and Juliet scene! I would stay here again, next time I'm in Verona!

Really a very cool and good experience bearing in this beautiful small town. Anyone would fall in love with gentleness and this smooth city. Home town of Romeo and Juliet. The hotel is place at very descent location at pizza square. Heart of the town. All major attraction were stone through away distance. Staff was very friendly. Not very luxurious...

Great position for a romantic week end in Verona. If you search for comfort and relax in this beautiful city you are in the right place! Modern and comfortable rooms in Piazza Brà, just in front of the famous Arena. Breakfast at "Mamma mia", 2 minutes walking, without waste of food as they do not have the classic buffet. You...

Apartment was excellent both in terms of location and comfort. Keys are collected on arrival in the restaurant Mama Mia right in the main square @ Piazza Bra where there is a little reception corner inside the restaurant. We arrived earlier than check in time of 3pm but decided to have some lunch and stroll around until our room was...

Just great! Easy to find, great location and gorgeous classy, modern and clean room. Right on the edge of the Piazza Bra and touching distance from the Arena. No stress. Love Verona and accommodation made it perfect.

We spent one night there, and do not regret at all. The Ippopotamo business seems to be more in the restaurants, but they have a few apartement type of rooms that serve as a fully functional hotel. The room we had was a well-furnished oversized one, included a kitchenette with a free Nespresso machine and an enormous bathroom with a...

We had one night in Verona and my buddy and travelling companion chose the Locanda Ippopotamo. I was skeptical at first (hippopotamus hotel just didn't sound like an outstanding establishment) and my first impression wasn't great when it took us quite a while just to find the place. We didn't realize that the "hotel" is actually just a block of...

This hotel is on Piazza Bra - we were going to the opera and it is a 3 minute walk. The entrance is through the restaurant. The first night we had an attic room, full of character tapestries and beams, two bathrooms and a small bedroom up a flight of stairs leading off the main bedroom. We had to move...

OK, firstly this is not a hotel in the classic sense. It is a business that owns a restaurant and a fast food eatery on Piazza Bra, and has expanded into acommadation. There is no reception, no lounge or bar or usual room service. Not a problem for me. When you arrive, you make yourself known at the fast-food joint...
